In 3.5 months we’ve lost 3 of ND’s all-time greatest leaders. Senators Layton Freborg, Pete Naaden, and Gary Nelson. Together they served nearly 90 years in the Legislature. They were strong leaders in the Senate when I was elected in ‘94.
