Many people believe that the divorce rates in the 50s were about the same as divorce rates now, meaning that if you were married in the 50s your risk of divorce was as high as the risk of divorce for modern couples.
This is false and the misunderstanding is due to the fact that divorce rates are measured per total population, and NOT per total MARRIED population.
If you compare the divorce rate per married population in the 1950s vs today, the divorce rate today is 50 percent higher than it was in the 1950s.
Allegra Spender believes funding of Christian schools should be tied to "non-discrimination", aka Christian persecution. She wants all Christians and Christian schools to bend the knee to the depraved sexual ethic of the radical left, which is the religion of the state. We will NEVER give in. Join the fight to oppose this Christian Persecution Bill👇

One of the most closeted demographics in the country is children with LGBTQ parents.
Most have suffered mother/father loss and wrestle with the instability and pain that follows.
Those who have same-sex parents deal with mother-hunger or father-hunger, which can make them vulnerable to the wrong kinds of male or female attention.
Some were created through sperm/egg selling and combat feelings of commodification as a result.
Some discover new half-siblings every month or two if their dad was a serial “donor.”
Some struggle with their own understanding of themselves as a boy because they don't have a father. Girls struggle with their femininity because they don't have a mother.
Some mourn the loss of their father after he “transitioned” to become a woman.
Many were raised in the home of an unrelated adult with whom they feel less connected and sometimes less protected.
And most are told (by therapists, society, and sometimes the adult raising them) that failure to rejoice over their household arrangement is bigotry.
It is a cruel form of cultural gaslighting that require children to remain in closeted isolation.
A government-commissioned review finds young people's mental health problems have risen sharply since 1993, worst among young women. I'd like the same figures broken down by whether children grew up with their married mum and dad. https://t.co/axiOEiM8VO
A father threw a chair toward a judge after the driver who killed his 2 year old daughter and both her grandparents was sentenced to just 120 hours of community service.

“As a Brit, one of the first things you notice when arriving in Israel is how young this country is.
In Israel, five-year-olds outnumber 65-year-olds by more than two to one. In Britain, 65-year olds significantly outnumber five-year-olds.
It is a nation’s youth that is her potency, her hope and her future.
In the West we have lost our potency, and our hope and our future hang in the balance.”
When Bronte Gossling from @smh reached out to interview me for a hit piece, I recorded the phone call to expose the paper's hidden agendas and biased reporting. She was so exposed by this "interview" where I turned the tables that her hit piece never eventuated, and instead the nine newspapers had to rely on her colleague writing an op-ed hit job instead. The conclusion of the call is hilarious. When I ask "do you have any final words for my viewers?" - her response is priceless 🤭
This human baby is 100% killable under UK law.
You are more likely to be arrested for praying that babies like this should not be killed, than actually killing them.
Abortion must be entirely abolished. No exceptions.
“So many of Britain’s serious problems - mass migration, burgeoning national debt, a collapse of national identity - can be traced back to the decline of the family.
Britain has had below replacement birthrates since 1970.
It is the shortage of young people that has driven the demand for foreign labour and mass immigration.
It is the falling ratio of young to old that has forced us to spend beyond our means on welfare and pensions.
Without strong families, how do we pass on our culture and inheritance, the shared sense of history and identity that is what binds people into a strong nation?
Weak families are not a side issue, a peripheral concern for conservatives on a moral crusade.
Weak families are THE issue.
When the foundations decay, it is only a matter of time before the house falls down.”
5 girls accused 1 guy of rape because they didn't like him.
A 19-year-old accused her teacher of rape because he wouldn't let her switch seats.
One woman accused 3 duke lacrosse athletes of rape.
Now, 1 woman is accusing 7 men of rape.
All of these women were between the ages of 14 and 28.
Are you telling me that a 15-year-old girl in the West already knows she has the ultimate weapon to ruin a man's life in seconds and get away with it?
Ministers have narrowed the Courts and Tribunals Bill, limiting judge-only trials to long, technical fraud cases. The same Bill would delete the presumption that a child benefits from both parents' involvement, and that is not a tweak. https://t.co/nsTtJ7NafG
This is child abuse. Gleeful child abuse.
Stealing a child from his/her mother is one of the very worst things you can do.
The fact that some call this "progress" or "equality" shows just how depraved the West has become.
Even tolerating this evil is very evil.
The birth control pill completely changed the relationship between men and women, and not for the better.
Before the pill, sex had consequences. Men had to commit before they could sleep with a woman. Marriage was the gateway. This gave women leverage. A man had to prove himself worthy of a lifelong commitment before a woman would give herself to him.
The pill removed those consequences. Suddenly women could be sexually available without requiring commitment, and men took full advantage. Why would a man marry when he can get everything he wants without the responsibility?
Now women wonder why men won't commit. They gave away the very thing that made commitment necessary. And feminism celebrates this as "sexual liberation" while women are lonelier and more heartbroken than ever.
The pill didn't free women.
@Fair_and_Biased It is an odd point made by the Pope, for two reasons.
(1) The baby is utterly innocent whereas the other is very guilty. So what is the point of comparison?
(2) 'Pro-life' is just a rhetorical slogan, and the use of slogans can mean one has not thought things through freshly.
