Before Run Naijaria, I built a different game.
Players hide among AI NPCs, hunters try to find them. 3D maps, NPCs that talk back. Sounded fire on paper.
Then I actually played it.
Boring. The hunter just walks around guessing.
So I killed it and moved on.
Lesson: play your own game before you fall in love with it. If it's not fun for you, it won't be fun for anyone.
