Today is the release day of my new book, “Psalms of Trust” (Living What Confidence in God At All Times). I love the Psalms! As with many Christians, the Psalms comfort, strengthen, and direct me in life’s dangers, toils, and snares. In “Psalms of Trust,” I write extended meditations on ten Psalms that affirm that God is worthy of your trust and what it means to trust him in every season of life. Get a copy to help you walk in the paths of righteousness of God’s name sake. Get another copy for someone you know and love who is carrying a heavy burden in their life. Pray that the Lord would be pleased to use this book for the good of his people and the glory of his name.

Things godly men DEFINITELY DO NOT DO:

1. Take dominion of their wife

2. Dominate their wife

3. Be domineering with their wife

4. Force obedience from their wife

5. Rule their wife as a subject

6. Treat their wife like a child

7. Discipline or punish their wife

8. Obsessively police their wife

9. Generally live in an extremely insecure way toward their wife

Instead, godly men "nourish and cherish" their wife, live with them understandingly, show honor to them, listen to them, and live in a Christlike way toward them by God's grace so that their prayers may not be hindered (Eph. 5; 1 Peter 3).
