If your role requires you to vet or purchase technologies, check this out. This is a very interesting approach to trying to manage tech purchases. @DigitalPromise has a GREAT paper linked in the article if you want to really dive in.

We don’t know which way AI will ultimately develop, but we can futureproof ourselves by focusing on adaptability.
From @nytimes piece “Where Is AI Taking Us?” – read the whole thing: https://t.co/INYiMT4OwA
😱Anthropic isn’t just building chatbots
They’re building a system that can think, code & execute
And most people are using it wrong.
There are actually 3 different Claudes — and each one replaces a different type of work:
1. Claude AI → replaces Google + docs + junior research
• Writing, thinking, summarizing, ideation
• Zero setup, pure conversation
2. Claude Code → replaces hours of engineering work
• Reads your entire codebase
• Edits multiple files
• Writes, debugs, and runs tests autonomously
3. Claude Cowork → replaces repetitive computer tasks
• Renames, organizes, and edits files in bulk
• Extracts data from PDFs → spreadsheets
• Automates cross-app workflows
Simple rule:
• Thinking → Claude AI
• Building → Claude Code
• Doing → Claude Cowork
Most people only use the first.
The leverage is in the other two

Those of you working in education, libraries, or research, this might be of value to you. It is a bot that evaluates sources using the R.A.V.E.N. and the C.R.A.A.P Tests on sources. Great for student use - feedback is welcome. https://t.co/9rAaVnjIRb
The moment you've ACTUALLY been waiting for... Introducing Deep Research!
Rolling out now, Deep Research browses hundreds of sites to craft an organized report AND gives you an annotated list of sources for deeper exploration, all of which you can add directly to your notebook.
You know that feeling when your advisor says 'but what's the gap?' & your mind goes blank Here's your rescue!
Learn your Gap types & how to address them ⤵️
— Theoretical: when theories fail to explain reality
— Methodological: when current methods fall short
— Empirical: when we lack evidence to explain something
— Conceptual: when key definitions are muddy
— Temporal: when research hasn't kept up with changes
— Spatial: when studies ignore geographic differences
— Literature: when studies fail to build on existing knowledge
Each has distinct ways to address them.
What most miss?
Connecting MULTIPLE gap types creates the strongest research justification.
