⭐ SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD - UPSTAIRS AT THE GATEHOUSE ⭐

This show and production is probably my biggest surprise of the year for me. Even though I've seen hundreds of shows by this point, I've still yet to see many classic musicals that may surprise people. Jason Robert Brown's Songs For A New World is one of them 😱

I'd heard of it of course, specifically remembering the amazing line-up for the pandemic live-streaming and eventual socially-distanced production. But I'd never seeked it out or listened to any of the songs, which I actively do with most shows I've yet to see, so when I do see it live, I can get the full effect of discovering a show, new to me ✨

And.... I fell in love 😍 lol

What an incredible collection of songs, songs I know are beloved for a reason and this production was an incredible showcase for them ✨

Not only did it sound incredible but JFC. WHAT. A. CAST. 🌟

SO HAPPY TO HAVE CAUGHT THIS AGAIN! ! ! 💖

I dragged @MickeyJoTheatre and @AeronJamesUK to see this after raving about it to them lol They were especially excited to catch @BuffyChalmers in this, since she wowed them in @oscarcrownuk..... And I get what they were on about.... Sensational performance 😍

Also got to catch the fabulous @ChristopherXVII as Man 2 this time around ✨

Was also treated to @JonahSercombe singing our faces off, with those CRAZY high notes as Man 1 😱

So cool to see, after previously catching his Man 2 ✨

We were treated to an incredible "Stars and the Moon" from @EleanoreFrances.... A masterclass in acting through song 💖
