There’s also the interesting question of whether you can have a war if one side doesn’t have an airforce; navy; standing army; electricity; food; or water; and is a bunch of kids
@MartinSLewis Martin - I have been trying to sort this in the past week. SLC say I have been overpaying, but to contact my employer (NHS) who should contact the HMRC helpline to advise/approve a refund. When I contact my employer, they deny any wrongdoing. Not sure how to take this further?
‘Junior’ doctors to walk out for 5 days
🚨 Worst doctor retention in decades
🚨 Record numbers Drs emigrating for better pay & conditions
🚨 26% Pay erosion, £14 per hour for A DOCTOR
🚨 No credible offer from government
Too right we’re striking
As we mark #NHS75 and look to its future, I’m focused on adopting the latest cutting-edge tech to ensure we can continue to deliver the best care & cut waiting times.
#AI tools are part of this and are already making a significant impact across the NHS 👇
Our tolerance for any disruption, whether through protest or otherwise, will be low.
We will deal robustly with anyone intent on undermining this celebration.

Watch as they shift the blame and begin to erode your rights as a working individual. It’s your fault things are failing, not theirs. They don’t fucking care about the British people. Join a union. Strike for better pay and conditions. #BMABallotReady
"Whilst we absolutely believe in the right to strike, we're duty bound to protect the lives and the livelihoods of the British people.”
