Strange that a Thai based billionaire can register to vote at a farmhouse that he doesn't own and doesn't live in, so he can keep funding the party he doesn't own, in an attempt to stop foreign based people who don't live here coming in 🤷
Anyone else feel that it is not right or proper that the man seeking the most important executive job in the country should be allowed to take over without an interview or serious examination of his suitability, temperament and credentials?
Realistically, is that it now? If no one else comes forward to challenge Burnham, he'll be PM in a couple of wks? What was the point of the country voting if what it decided can so easily be overturned? Will this set a precedent for future elections? Did democracy just die?
The way Burnham talks about doing less foreign policy, more localism, the ‘Makerfield test’, community hubs and so on, all makes me wonder if there’s a perfect job out there for him that isn’t Prime Minister. I dunno, maybe he should become the Mayor of a great city or something.
The woman who went into labor and gave birth in the rubble after the Venezuelan earthquake struck has made it safely. I see no one sharing. If they were dead, everyone would share! Share positivity...
If I thought that this labour coup had been done in the best interests of our country, I would try & accept it. However I actually think it has been done by bitter, vengeful, self-interested people who wanted punishKeir Starmer for not listening to them or doing things their way.
Does anyone in this country, or in @UKLabour , care about basic democracy? I do, and I suspect many others do. The Labour Party will, I believe, live to regret what they and @andyburnham have done to an extremely competent Prime Minister @Keir_Starmer .
Remember this photo Keir Starmer took with President Zelenskyy and President Alex Stubb of Finland?
Starmer and Stubb both wore black, in solidarity.
I will never forgive Labour MPs for what they have done, or the media hacks who helped foment the panic.
This was a coup.
Not sure if I'm alone. But I'm bloody certain that I still stand with this man. Those who have sought his political demise aren't worthy of political position. Maybe you agree? We #StandWithStarmer?
@Keir_Starmer
This is the bit where all the Downing Street staffers come out and tell us all the awful things Starmer did, affairs with interns, bullying and harassment, regular drunkenness, corruption… No? Anyone? No? Right, so we just got rid of the most decent PM in our lifetime.
A decent man has been forced out due to the ego of Burnham and bastards like Streeting.
Driven by a press that hates Labour & feeds off chaos.
Screw them.
@timchap Burnham's thirst for power & the Labour Party's propensity for eating itself alive will end up with us back in the hands of right-wing criminals & perverts.
If @AndyBurnhamGM and his sheeples think that the country wants change, he should put it to the membership.
No one should be celebrating what seems certain to be the imminent departure of #Starmer & arrival of our 7th PM in 10 years
Something has gone horribly wrong in British politics. Stability & competence were key parts of what made us a great country.
Poorer quality politicians, the cheapening of political debate (in part social media but also MSM) & rise of so called populism led to #Brexit & the decision to leave #EU just exacerbated the demise of competent Govt, sensible politics & decent politicians.
We are still alive in Gaza… 🥹🇵🇸
Despite everything, we are still trying to hold on.
If you see this photo, please don’t scroll past in silence.
Write anything — even a single dot means so much to us and reminds us that we are not alone. 🥹💔🙏

🚨 BREAKING:- Turkey's President Send a Message to the World Against Israel⚡
"The world must wake up. What we are seeing in Gaza is not a war. It is a genocide committed by a man who has lost all humanity.
Netanyahu has gone beyond Hitler in terms of cruelty. He has turned a holy land into a cemetery for children, while the rest of the world looks the other way out of fear or complicity."
