This is the grave of the martyr Jiyan Tolheldan, the general commander of the YAT Counter-Terrorism Forces, who was in the front lines of the battle to defeat ISIS and terrorist organizations in defense of her people and the world.
She came from the ranks of the YPJ, and at a time when Kurdish fighters were confronting ISIS, Turkey was shelling them and supporting extremist groups.
She was martyred in Qamîşlo ( Rojava ) by a Turkish drone after many years of resistance.
And due to the occupation of Afrin by Turkey and its mercenaries, she was prevented from being buried in her city, so she was buried in Sheikh Maqsoud.
Today, the graves of the martyrs who defeated ISIS and sacrificed their lives are being violated by the forces of the “new Syrian army” (HTS), in a scene that reflects the continued targeting of those who gave their blood in the fight against terrorism.
As for what happened after the defeat of ISIS, it is a series of successive betrayals that affected the Kurds in Sheikh Maqsoud and across Rojava; where the international coalition led by the United States and France abandoned their commitments, and real support was withdrawn at a moment of need, repeating the same scene with regional and local parties that benefited from the victory without protecting those who made it possible.
This is a complete betrayal of the sacrifices that defeated ISIS on the ground.
But the truth cannot be buried, and the martyrs remain, and betrayal will remain a black mark in history.

Four MUSLIM Countries have committed numerous Genocide against the Kurdish People. And they and their lunatic leftist westerns have the audacity to call others for being genocidal!
These crimes have cost the lives of millions of #Kurds and have marked our history through systematic murder, deportation, forced displacement, and cultural eradication.
The Kurds' struggle for justice, recognition, and freedom continues to this day.
They killed many of our people but they will never succeed in Killing #Kurdistan ❤️☀️💚

A terrified 8-year-old Yazidi girl was kidnapped by a 60-70 year old ISIS Muslim.
For two years she was tied, beaten, and repeatedly raped, then sold to another.
“One of their Emirs took 7 Yazidi girls. Others took 3-4,” she said.
This is the horrific reality of the Yazidi genocide.
Her testimony is heartbreaking. Watch the full video.
One day before the event, the organizers placed the Iraqi flag next to Namo Fazil’s name, but he refused to compete unless it was replaced with the Kurdish flag 🦁🥊
It’s time to correct Trump once and for all: the US, under the Trump administration, betrayed the Kurds.
This betrayal was orchestrated by Tom Barrack, the US ambassador to Syria and special envoy for Syrian affairs. Barrack has long represented Turkish and Qatari interests while being paid by American taxpayers.
Trump’s claim that weapons were given to the Kurds so they could pass them on to the Iranian opposition is one of the most absurd statements ever made by a US politician at that level. The US already has military bases in Kurdistan and could directly arm any Iranian opposition group if it wanted to.
But unfortunately, these days, almost nothing coming from the US administration is surprising anymore.

Murderess Sabiha Gökçen, born Armenian, orphan from the 1915 events and given to Atatürk as adoptive daughter. Raised Turkish and trained as a pilot in the 1930s. Her mission was the Dersim massacre 1937–38, when the Turks launched operations to enforce assimilation of Kurds.
12 Years in Captivity: Kurdish Yazidi Girl Jamila Bapir’s Return from ISIS in Syria 🇸🇾 back to Kurdistan ☀️ among her family
Kidnapped at just 7 during the Sinjar genocide, Jamila Bapir was taken while fleeing with her family—and then disappeared into ISIS captivity for 12 years.
She didn’t just go missing… she grew up inside captivity.
In 2026, she was finally rescued from Syria through a coordinated operation led by the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG)-linked Office for Rescuing Abducted Yazidis, a unit responsible for tracking and recovering kidnapped survivors of ISIS.
Her location was identified through ongoing intelligence work, survivor networks, and local informants operating across Syria. Once verified, she was quietly extracted and brought back to the Kurdistan Region.
But her return is not a full ending.
She comes back speaking Arabic instead of Kurdish, showing how deeply she was separated from her identity
Some of her family, including her mother and siblings, were rescued years earlier and now live abroad
Her father is still missing, with no confirmed information about his fate
Jamila’s story is part of a much larger tragedy.
In 2014, ISIS kidnapped 6,417 Yazidis women and children. As of now, over 3,500 have been rescued—but around 2,500 are still missing.
Her return is a rare moment of hope—but also a reminder: the story of Sinjar is still unfinished.
Prisoners in Amed (Diyarbakır), many of whom are Kurdish political prisoners, celebrate Amedspor’s victory. This win is more than just a game; it symbolizes the ongoing fight for the Kurdish cause. ☀️✌️

The Turkish newspaper Cumhuriyet claimed in the 1930s that the Ancient Egyptian civilization was a 'Turkish achievement.'
This was part of a campaign to promote the 'Turkish History Thesis,' a theory manufactured solely to make Turks feel proud of a history that isn't even theirs.
Artist Ahmed Nabaz poured a bucket of red paint over his head and staged a 23-minute protest in front of the Baxshin Hospital in Slemani, referencing the time the friends of injured Iranian Kurdish opposition fighter Ghazal Mawlan waited for the hospital administration to respond and make a decision to admit her or not.
What a tragedy.
First day in office and the newly installed governor of Kirkuk is already marginalising the Kurdish people in Kirkuk.
At his inauguration - arab and Turkmen children were invited; while Kurds were excluded.
This is, since the toppling of the Ba’ath regime in 2003 - the first time that a Iraqi governmental entity has purposely excluded the Kurdish people from being represented within Iraq.
🚨The Turks stolen not only old Kurdish songs but also new ones.
Kurdish music produced by Rojava artists was stolen and performed with Turkish lyrics.
The song "Tol", originally written and composed by Zeyneb Mensûr, was stolen and played with racist Turkish lyrics.
