Sharks are largely colour blind but do like contrasting colours known as Yum Yum Yellow to divers who would avoid it aswell as brighy orange life jackets Hi- Viz with dark clothes underneath

The Shark that is popularly called The Great White Shark (Carcharadon Carcharias) is actually a type of Mackerel Shark and is The White Pointer or simply The White Shark it is extant in the Med also off the Canaries and possibly extant off the French coast occasionally Britain!

The Shortfin Mako Shark, Blue Shark and Porbeagle are frequent visitors to Britain because of an abundance of seals and Seabirds and other prey although the Porbeagle very rarely attacks humans all grow large and are predatory with the Mako attaining 12 feet in length sometimes!
