I remember the start of the anime production and the email I got asking me a ton of questions as the English manga editor. I can't believe it's been almost a decade since the manga. Has time really gone by so much?! I was still in my early 20's then!
Finding when this was posted and it brought back a lot of memories... I am one of 5,000 or so people with this diagnosis in the US and around 2.5 million people in the world. It's been a really rough time learning just because you have a name to something (and so many other things that came after either related to it + a genetic disease and things related to that too)...it's only the beginning... this disease in particular took a lot from me. And I thought it was something my neurologist made up too. But regardless of what this has done to my life and keeps doing, I will keep going until my last breath.

When me and @kaitou_ace went to some P5 locations. I was so anxious I donno why but this is 2/3 of the manga's team. Adrienne was with us in spirit. And giving me play through tips in my email to fix my social links.
NOW I am remembering when I edited Black Torch...
And how Rago is probably what my cat, Sensei, would be like despite my cat Sensei's full name being Nyanko Sensei and already named after a not a cat character...
Long, long ago...there was a digital magazine for Jump and I was not out as trans yet so it has my dead name...
And I took over HxH from someone who is now back on our team...and this was my first credit for being the editor...and now we will burn my dead name and ignore the name of one of the translators in the second row
Not cigna continuing to to break ADA law with discriminatory policies...including the actual policy for filing discrimination grievances being inherently discriminatory.
Well, it's back! There were a lot of words to edit. Lots of words. (There was a pivot in the story from the last chapter so I'm not giving details on purpose)
I really don't get why people react to things I announce I'm working on like I'm a new editor of a kid? While I love my toilet humor and history, I started in the anime industry at Tezuka Productions in 2014 (22) and then Viz in 2015 (23)...and now I'm 33. 11 and a half years...

"A public high school that looks like a college"
....
All of us who went there said it was designed like a prison. Yes, I grew up in this town. Yes, I hated it. Money can buy a lot but it can't buy a functional family.
Yes, I did feel like I had to clarify who is holding the head on the color page because of comments on the post that actually have me anxious because people are aware I am half Jewish (ethno-religion. I don't practice, but I did get all the bad genetic mutations like PARK8 out of it). That does not make me for itsnotreal. No one in my family is and I have zero connection to that place and its idiot leader. I implore people to think before they post things because it could really hurt people, including the person who edits the thing you're making bad jokes about. Hate Bibi all you want. But don't make antisemitic comments about Jewish people in general.
@Maar16310528@Sayngelic I wasn't sure what the head was. So you could be right. I was more focused on the fact people not getting that the image is of Tserriednich...which I am sad my phone can autocorrect to.
Quoting this again as the editor and just like...someone who has read the manga because I am editing it...
The character in the color image is Tserriednich....
@Sayngelic I think that's a nen artifact in Tserriednich's hands? I edited Dragon Ball 3-in-1's, Super, and the Yamcha spin-off...and I edit HxH. I'm used to fans from both. Just kinda like...take two seconds and realize that's Tserriednich?
Sorry, just like...
Saw the comment about a certain thing.
And like...anxiety being Jewish and the editor kicked in. Even though the color page is literally of Tserriednich and not anyone else...
