Whilst stepping away is the right decision for now, I won't rule out returning with another royal project in the future.

For the time being, I hope to focus on regaining my strength and prepare for a move in 2025 due to my husband's career. A fresh start feels right!

The finality of writing it though, took me quite some time to get to. So much of the fun and joy has been greatly diminished.

I can't quite put my finger on why it didn't happen. I would tell myself I'd decide next weekend, or next month. Yet, it never happened. It wasn't until lately I came to the realisation this chapter of my blogging journey had come to its natural conclusion.

I've been battling health issues for some time, and it all reached a tipping point in the spring of this year.
