Is there any life on Mars? YUNGBLUD and I both seem to be asking this! Instead of late night star gazing I used sky guide to locate Mars this morning. Quasars were out in the eastern sky but choose to only record what I haven’t already. The West! @DorOKSG

The midnight sun! Last night we observed the night sky while also watching for bats at twilight! Jupiter was visible. We tried SkyGuide app to help us, an app we learned about at the star party! It’s hard to imagine 24 hours of daylight in Antarctica!

Past the autumnal equinox, the sun sets earlier and rises later! A tipping Earth helps give diverse hours during the year. On this cold October 19, you could see Jupiter shining brightly! He was easy to find with the use of Skywalk2, my preferred app.

@DorOKSG I think I finally got it this time. Twitter is hard for someone so wordy! This is the preferred app of the family, we loved hearing the stars and spent way more then the required time… on more then one occasion 😜

Twinkle twinkle little 🌠! We went on a journey with the SkyWalk2 app. This app made 🖼 feel as if they were coming to life. The boys ❤️ feeling as if they were looking at the horizon and still seeing partial constellations. ❤️ the ability to use the 📷 and see the sky! @DorOKSG

Star gazing with our own guide; the iPad. If you want a fun experience for all ages the GOSkyWatchPlanetarium is it! With moving pictures of the constellations and latitude, longitude coordinates; this iPad app is easy for all ages. We were so excited to catch Cyrus last night!
