@Presh_JP @Chima_amanda1 @Letter_to_Jack Your analogy creates a false dilemma of having a CHOICE on one hand and a CONSEQUENCE on the other. It doesn't work that way. There's always more than one CHOICE.
You're FREE to choose between CHOICES, but you're not free from the CONSEQUENCES that emanate from each CHOICE.

"Free choice" means, you're FREE to choose God or NOT choose Him.
You have the FREEWILL to make one CHOICE over another CHOICE. E.g., "serve me" or "don't serve me".
Your comparison is CHOICE or CONSEQUENCES and that's where people misunderstand the concept of freewill.

However, everybody is given the opportunity to recalibrate their trajectory to bring about a different outcome whether good/bad.
