@racingblogger I think Jan is a different beast this year too! Super relaxed and not a drop of sweat on him at Chester… he’s the finished article now and Epsom really works to his strengths
@CRacing7 I think you’re right….. that’s the effects of a wide draw and going the big boy route to the front. I imagine he’ll sleep well tonight. Showed his class in the end though
@SziIlar First time below 10 furlongs in a race which will almost certainly be tactical. I think the logical bet is anyone other than fav and Sosie is by far the strongest challenger. 4-1 is mental for last years winner!
@ciaranodeorain He travelled like the best horse in the race just faltered and drifted when asked to change gears which ultimately cost him the race. He has the engine there was more petrol in the tank. You’d suspect he’ll reverse that form but by how far is the question?
@The_Anteposter Sosie looking likely to stay in France rather than a supplementation to Epsom now? Fabre is usually pragmatic in these scenarios and this could end up as a match race with Daryz. Could be a great shootout over a trip which is on the sharp side for both.
@DeclanGraffin@joshtoole91 I would be in the Dylan camp too but if I was him I’d want to be riding what comes out of the haggas yard at all the big festivals/ classic etc with the chance of riding an all time great…. The profile thing is subjective
@DeclanGraffin@joshtoole91 Aye, we might be barking up different trees here Declan 😂 out of curiosity though, who do you think has the better job out of Tom Marquand and Dylan. And who do you think is the better jockey
@DeclanGraffin@joshtoole91 …. With the exception of the Irish champion. And I’m not doubting how good Irish jockeys are! Quite the opposite! But the elite racing is not as high profile and that’s what matters
@DeclanGraffin@joshtoole91 With the exception of the Irish champion, no one cares about Irish group racing, its not about numbers it’s about profile and he won’t be a big dog playing in Ireland
@waaaawaaaa95bl@joshtoole91 Might be a long wait for that job though. I don’t see Ryan more stopping any time soon. Better to come back after racing in the English pattern for a while as they are the races coolmore want to win
@DeclanGraffin@joshtoole91 I would say any can who provide regular group contenders in the uk pattern. I think it would be hard for any world class jockey to ride out of Ireland at the moment …. Colin Keane had the right idea
