@LethalityJane Agreed. Plus when it premiered it was not well received in Russia. It only became popular when major ballet companies in the west began performing it. San Francisco Ballet was the first in the US, I believe in 1944.

@JackMurphyRGR A little late.... Never considered larger geo-political factors. I just thought about me, my dudes and my training versus the enemy and may the best men win. Always more about testing myself and learning about my limits. Learned that you don't always like what you find out.
