The message of a protest is "we don't like this".

The message of a riot is "we don't like this, and we're able to do something about it".

People who unconditionally call for peace and calm, regardless of the provocation, don't fundamentally understand how politics works in the real world.

They do understand that the purpose of politics is to provide an alternative to violence, but that's as far as their understanding goes. They don't think through the implications, usually because they are quite comfortable with things as they are.

If politics is an alternative to violence, then politics is a proxy for violence.

And that means you have to dole out power in proportion to capacity for violence. Or someone's going to figure out they can do better by flipping the table.

Monarchy wasn't replaced by democracy because of fine-sounding philosophical ideals and eloquent documents declaring this or that.

Democracy happened because if you added rifling to the flintlock firearm, suddenly a individual farmer with a tube was the pinnacle of military technology, and now you had to keep all the farmers with tubes happy by giving them political power.

(Ancient Greek democracy had a similar relationship with the hoplite warrior.)

When political systems work well, for a while, the violence they represent becomes further and further from people's minds, and those who can't effectively commit or direct violence worm their way into power, and begin to take it away from those who can.

And they'll defend their position by saying that violence is unthinkable, barbaric, always bad, must be disavowed at all costs, etc.

This isn't some sort of high-minded principle on their part. It simply means one of two things. Either "the status quo works for me, so I don't want you to upset it", or "I suck at violence, and I don't want to have to fight".

They want young men demoralized, so that their artificial meritocracy of spreadsheets, or their non-meritocracy of patronage networks, can be protected from the natural meritocracy of conflict.

This means that riots aren't actually for achieving any specific material aim. They are for reminding the comfortable that judges and bureaucrats and policemen have home addresses and families. And that violence is always on the table.

A protest would only send the message that the Irish don't want to be ethnically cleansed. But the bureaucrats and judges and lawyers already know that. They just don't care.

A riot reminds them that they have to care, because the Irish have a long tradition of doing something about it.

Since Blair - 30 years ago - people voted against mass immigration.

Every election, they got up, got dressed, found a pilling station and voted to end mass immigration.

30 years they did that.

Nothing changed. In fact, it got worse.

So they organised marches and protests, and events and petitions and wrote to their MPs and tried every single thing they could legally, to tell the powers that be, that they wanted an end to mass immigration.

The state has deliberately ignored and removed all legal options from the British and Irish people to legally, peacefully, have their demands answered.

THEY, and nobody else, have created and caused division and riots and fury.

The toothpaste can not go back in the tube. We are where we are because, and only because, of 30 years of failed government.

As the journalist who reported on this case and paid a high price for it, I’ll tell you that Karmelo did not just k*ll an unarmed white kid.

The family started a GiveSendGo, raising over half a million dollars. They did not even pay for bail; a friend of the advocates did. Their advocate threatened the school that he would hold public protests if they did not give Karmelo his diploma, and the school buckled. Karmelo was able to be at home on house arrest and is able to go to the barber and the library. He has been able to spend the holidays with his family, while the family he destroyed has spent the holidays mourning their son. The victim's parents have both been threatened, doxxed, and swatted.

Both the Anthonys and their advocates have lied and targeted me and my family. I have been doxxed. My husband has been doxxed. I have been swatted. I have been targeted with CPS. My children’s lives have been threatened to the point that one Anthony supporter said that he was going to sl*t my child’s throat.

A man who had to be investigated by the FBI and CID is currently sitting in my county jail because he was counting down the days until I gave birth to my child so that he could “end me.” This man was a social media friend of the advocate for the Anthony family.

All because I dared to thoroughly report on a black 17-year-old who stabbed a white 17-year-old at a track meet.

No one knows this case better than me. And I know just how dark and evil these people truly are.

And yes, I am FULLY fatigued.

This is correct. And to be fair to blacks, it’s not even an IQ disparity issue. Whites find black social norms just as incomprehensible as they find ours.

And this poor theory of mind is precisely why Progressives support Civil Rights, BLM, etc. or adjacent ideas like immigration or religious freedom in the first place.

They genuinely think that Western (white) social norms and values are the universal norms and values held by everyone on earth, rather than just white people and those we forced them on in the past.

The idea that blacks or other “oppressed” groups could be receiving just punishment for behavior downstream from their values sounds completely implausible to libs because for whatever reason its just universally the case that most people, regardless of race, cannot comprehend the idea that values are not universal. Much more plausible is that blacks do have the same values as us and the disparate outcomes are a product of something else. Most notably, all the forcing we did on them in the past.

Libs genuinely believe that they were just like us, or at least on their way to being so, and then we exploited and abused them for no reason, and that made them misbehave (or further, that they aren’t even misbehaving today, we are just continuing to exploit and oppress them)

Regretfully, and I genuinely say this regretfully, wishing it weren’t true: the truth is almost the complete opposite. All that force was actually the only thing that civilized them at all. The degree to which they are like us now is the degree to which our assimilation worked, and the degree to which they maintain disparate outcomes is the degree to which they have remained like themselves.

It is not a coincidence that black outcomes have WORSENED in direct proportion that racism has LESSENED. Nor is it a coincidence that ghettos look like Africa. It was precisely the boot of our norms on their neck that caused them to follow them. And it has been precisely the degree with which that boot has been lifted, the degree to which we have given them the freedom to return to their preferred, more innate norms, that they have deviated from them and started to recreate in our land the land that made them who they are.

Re: Karmelo Anthony and his defenders:

Obviously there is some blind black tribal loyalty involved, but I think there’s something else and arguably worse.

The facts seem to be this: Karmelo invaded another track team’s tent. He did this to assert dominance. When asked to leave, he issued threats: “touch me and see what happens.” After repeatedly telling him that he was not welcome, and in response to provocation, Austin Metcalf pushed him, trying to get him to comply with basic social norms. Karmelo, no doubt delighted that he had now received permission for escalation under his own code, stabbed Austin to death.

The black defenders of Karmelo believe this is how society should operate: an endless war of all against all to assert dominance, escalating when one’s assertions are rebuffed. They’re mad that the justice system got involved, because in their minds this is the proper way to conduct business: omnipresent dominance signaling, inevitably leading to violence.

They genuinely don’t understand that other people don’t operate according to those rules. And they certainly don’t understand that our rules, by drastically reducing friction and needless cost, are the very reason for the disparities in group power they complain about. We are polite internally and can thus exert greater collective power externally. A few Karmelos in the mix destroys this system.

But they don’t care that running things their way would be the end of civilization, the end of their cell phones and EBT and air conditioning, because they don’t understand it. They don’t understand anything about the modern world. They are lost here, confused. This state of affairs is not sustainable.
