Due to some "very deep philosophical differences" and an increasingly complex and political fight over skill games, Pennsylvania's budget will likely be late. The question is now how long past the June 30 deadline policymakers will need. Via @SpotlightPA

My grandson, Gavin is on the spectrum and is also diagnosed with a speech delay. He communicates differently than you and I. He is perfect to all of us who love him and we never leave him home. The suggestion by PA State Rep. @russdiamond, that Gus Walz should have stayed home is disgraceful. Looking forward to @KamalaHarris and @Tim_Walz being elected. They will govern with kindness and understanding. We can’t go back to the mocking and ridiculing of the convicted felon’s term. @russdiamond, you’re a poor excuse for a human being. @NEPAautism@autismspeaks
FLASHBACK
1993-In congressional testimony, Donald Trump said that Native casino owners didn't deserve special status because “they don’t look like Indians to me.”
Despite calling Barron "Melania's son", getting JD Vance's name wrong, confusing Nikki Haley with Nancy Pelosi and falling asleep on camera at the Republican National Convention, the media has never made a multi-week story out of questioning Trump's cognitive abilities, energy level, or ability to do the job.
This is why so many people don't trust the media at all.
I am excited that our bipartisan efforts to establish a full-time state agency dedicated to supporting dementia initiatives across Pennsylvania were signed into law by @GovernorShapiro. For years, people living with Alzheimer’s Disease and related disorders have not been prioritized in PA. We can and we must do better for them and their loved ones who care for them.
This is a huge win for the @alzassociation - Greater PA Chapter and all the selfless advocates who have been tirelessly pushing for this legislation for years.

ADRD affects many of our loved ones but more state resources are needed to properly care for them. My bill to create a permanent Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders office passed the #PAHouse and now heads to the #PASenate for consideration.
Advocates, well done! The PA Senate passed SB840 & PA House passed HB 2400. This legislation equips PA with an ADRD office & a mandate to advance a statewide response to dementia. The legislation awaits a vote with the other chamber, before moving to the Gov's desk for signature
A web design company in HBG won #1 Best Place to Work in PA, 8 years in a row. I think their office ball pit keeps them on top! Thanks @webfx for today’s tour.
