@Super70sSports If you are talking about painting a picture lyrically, something written by Don Henley (Hotel California/Boys of Summer). More poetic - Sting (King of Pain/Fortress Around Your Heart)
@mcuban There aren't enough billionaires embarrassed that they have employees on assistance programs. There's probably more of them that would be embarrassed if they DIDN'T have employees on assistance programs, because it meant they left money on the table. Can't legislate character.
@cmccosky Why the heck would he even consider bringing Vest in before the ninth? Vest has proven time again he needs a clean inning because he's gonna walk somebody and he's gonna give up a hit. And Montero was kicking butt out there. One weak hit and one error.
@RailPassengers I'll be loading my bicycle on the Lake Shore Limited baggage car at 11:59pm tonight! Best way to travel with a bicycle, bar none. Low fee, no disassembly!
@sweta2311 Verse is really good - borderline All-Pro. So they traded for the difference between Garrett and Verse. It's big -but not as big as some think.
@cmccosky Bullet might be a bit of a stretch. Routine grounder is what I saw. Semantics I suppose. No offense Chris. Thanks for what you do. I'm sure it's no fun covering a losing team and dealing with frustrated fans.
@cmccosky The exact type of baseball the Tigers refuse to even try, despite the fact that none of them are hitting squat over the last month except Greene. But hey, let's just play for the three run homer.
@mikejohn72@IffyTheDopester@riger1984 Because our strategy is "hope for a hit" in extras with our below average hitters. And in the first nine innings the plan is to hope for a 3-run homer (with no power hitters).
@totallytigersbb@IffyTheDopester What drives me bonkers if they have absolutely no strategy to try to advance the ghost runner. Their strategy is "I hope we get a hit". I'm not saying they have to bunt every time, but at least occasionally make an effort to hit the ball to the left side. Record in extras 0-4.
