@PDXFato@brian_armstrong We haven’t had any IP for them to steal for over 10 years and before that we just gave it to them to lower wages and increase qtly profits. China has always thought long term and educated people and now beat us in all but AI. Stop blaming and start learning how to win.
For some reason, Sec. Rubio remembers and honors the lives of Those massacred in Tiananmen square (they weren't) but couldn't care less about the lives of Palestinians, Lebanese, Syrians, Somalians or Congolese being slaughtered in large numbers on his watch? He just wanted to insult the Chinese, methinks.
@Antiwarcom Love how they proudly state they refuse to follow the law.
Doing so would make every weapon going to Israel unconstitutional and they would lose control over the US government.
SENATE VOTES TO PROTECT TRUMP'S $1.8 BILLION SLUSH FUND
The Senate rejected an amendment Thursday that would have blocked Trump's controversial payout fund, a $1.8 billion settlement that gives Trump personal compensation and immunity from tax crime prosecution.
The vote was 50-49. Only 3 Republicans (Collins, Husted, Sullivan) broke ranks to join Democrats in attempting to stop it.
Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche testified Tuesday that the administration "abandoned" plans for the payout fund.
Senate Majority Leader John Thune held the vote open for three hours trying to flip senators. Even that wasn't enough to stop the political embarrassment.
Republicans are now trying to pass a bill funding ICE and CBP with nearly $70 billion to distract from this corruption.
My latest in the Morning Star.
“Rosa Luxemburg coined the phrase ‘socialism or barbarism’ in 1916, in the middle of the first world war, as a general statement about humanity’s choices. In the Caribbean in 2026, it is a concrete question on the table.
“Cuba has stood for 67 years as a beacon of hope for the oppressed and exploited around the world. It has been a source of inspiration for generations of activists, a symbol of resistance against imperialism, a model of what a different kind of society can look like.
“The whole world must stand with Cuba now, in its hour of need. We must demand an end to the blockade, an end to sanctions, an end to threats. We must support Cuba’s right to self-determination, to sovereignty, and to development on its own terms.”

NYT published uncorroborated accusations against @grahamformaine of “unsettling” and “toxic” behavior that came from a Heritage staffer who previously worked for a conservative org that backs Collins.
To be absolutely, 100% crystal clear: the "crime" President Trump ascribes to Congress, asking who would "do such an unpatriotic thing," is Congress DOING ITS JOB, entirely patriotic (and loooooong overdue).
President Trump is once again abusing the power of his office to try to suppress any dissent, to pressure individual members NOT to do their job and NOT to engage in Congressional oversight of its Article 1 obligation: the warmaking power.
Nothing in the law itself, nor this exercise thereof, interferes with his ability to negotiate an end to the war he illegally started. What it does do, according to the text of the bill itself:
Congress "hereby directs the President to terminate the use of United States Armed Forces from hostilities against the Islamic Republic of Iran or any part of its government or military, UNLESS explicitly authorized by a declaration of war or specific authorization for use of military force against Iran."
The ONLY thing it does is *further* codify what is already U.S. Law and in Articles 1 & 2 of the U.S. Constitution, which declares that only Congress can declare or authorize war, and in this case, literally the only thing this law does is say that the president can no longer violate the law by unilaterally attacking another country, if he desires to return to fighting, he has to obey the law/Constitution and FIRST get that authorization.
Period.
It doesn't interfere with his ability to negotiate now or later. It just demands that he obey the law.
What is painfully evident from this TruthSocial, is that the President is angry that any other institution in the country has any checks on his power. He wants unrestricted ability to do, literally, anything he wants, laws or Constitution be damned.
Now we'll see if the Senate is willing to do its job and pass this legislation, or if they'll cave (again) and punt, taking action with their votes to forfeit their Constitutional obligations.
We are watching...
The president's frequent claim that China doesn't build wind power is an up-is-down reversal of reality. "Last year, China installed three times as much wind power capacity as the rest of the world combined, even as its turbine exports jumped." https://t.co/xSzHlOtDiT
@PoliceThePolic1 At what point do people just start shooting cops on site and start claiming “I feared for my life” against the police. I’m pretty sure at this point no jury would convict. Like the IDF they kind of deserve it! Just saying
