@seemay What if, it's not a leak but a design developed in the rotten heart of the nation (Madhya Pradesh - R$$ Lab) ?
(Another example - Manoj Soni making his way into UPSC)
Is it a failure or an intentional diversion to reward the wards of compromised officials ?
The Politics of Misogyny Will Always Be Obscene
The image shared by a rightwing troll account reflects the pervert fantasy that a powerful woman can be politically defeated by sexually degrading her. It transcends party lines.

A private Ayurveda company made a majorly serious attempt to issue summons followed by arrest warrant against me for speaking against dangers of Ayurvedic herbal drugs and supplements which also included their product. The honorable High Court of Kerala has stayed the matter after my lawyers intervened urgently. This is the price a doctor-educator and public health activist has to pay for protecting people from avoidable dangers.
@jonstewart You've aged so gracefully IMO 😄

Add a tadka of comedy to a tragedy, and you have a perfect farce: the SIR in West Bengal. Evn by standards of the new normal, West Bengal is an extraordinary case of SIR-led disenfranchisement.
There was nothing unusual about Bengal’s voters’ list. In October 2025, it had 7.66 crore names, almost exactly the same as the adult population of 7.67 crore. Yet Bengal saw 30 roll observers, 8,000 micro observers, over 1.3 crore notices for “logical discrepancies”, and finally the deletion of 27 lakh additional names.
The scandal is not just in the numbers. It is that many had filed forms, attended hearings, produced documents, and still have no idea why they were deleted. The scandal is that nearly two-thirds of those deleted are from the minority community.

Why does Mamata Banerjee continue to hold a strong edge among women voters in West Bengal?
Data shows a significantly higher support gap among women compared to men, backed by welfare schemes like Lakshmir Bhandar that have directly impacted households and improved financial independence.
But on the ground, a shift is visible, while rural beneficiaries value cash support, many urban and educated women are now demanding stable jobs and long-term opportunities.

At a time when PM Modi and BJP leaders were busy misleading the nation on women’s reservation, their own student leader was being kicked out of a girls’ college in Delhi.
