The streaming community has completely lost the plot.
Pokimane doesn't owe Atrioc forgiveness.
Atrioc deserves the opportunity to prove he's changed.
Ludwig and QT can invite whoever they want to their wedding.
ALL THREE can be true.
The internet is so addicted to outrage that basic nuance is now controversial.
Atrioc is somehow showing more maturity than half the people defending him.
He understands that redemption doesn't entitle him to Pokimane's forgiveness, and he's actively telling people to stop attacking her.
How is the guy who fucked up the one making the most sense here?
Atrioc responds to Pokimane after she expressed discomfort over him being invited to Ludwig and QT's wedding despite the deepfake situation involving her
"Those feelings are totally valid.. I've never disagreed with that.. I feel terrible, I can't undo it.. I'm trying to use my actions to show that's not who I am."
"I don't know what prompted this now, but it is a valid feeling whenever.. But, I don't appreciate being used as a weapon to attack someone.. I do think those people should be allowed to invite me to something."
Calling for the person who accused Komanche to face MURDER charges is an insane leap.
Even if his death was a suicide, that doesn't automatically make his accuser a murderer.
You can condemn online harassment without assigning criminal responsibility to someone before the facts are even established.
"MURDER charges should be filed against the S-XUAL ASSAULT accuser of Deceased Spanish Streamer 'Komanche'", Says Controversial Streamer 'Mizkif'.
"The Girl DELETED her tweet."
"Women like this have to be held ACCOUNTABLE ."
"their frontal lobes are not DEVELOPED."
Mizkif is currently Suing his ex-girlfriend 'Emiru' for DEFAMATION over her own S-xual Assault allegations against him
Context: In late September 2026, the 30-year-old Salvadoran Twitch streamer Carlos Mauricio Gรณmez, known as El Komanche, was publicly accused of s-xual harassment and coercion. Following a massive wave of online controversy and cyberbullying linked to these allegations, he was found dead at his home in Monterrey, Mexico, on October 25, 2026

@osy_spam I completely agree. Poki has every right to criticize him and owes him absolutely nothing. My point isn't about what she should do, it's about whether the rest of the community can acknowledge someone's efforts to change without expecting forgiveness from the people they hurt.
Pokimane doesn't owe Atrioc forgiveness. Nobody says she does.
But forgiveness and rehabilitation are different things.
If someone takes accountability and works to change, at what point do we let them move forward?
Or should their worst mistake define them forever?
Pokimane opens up about feeling uncomfortable seeing Atrioc on social media after the deepfake situation years ago
"Seeing Atrioc's name and face pop up.. It gives me a lot of discomfort and anxiety.. I don't know the best way to deal with it."
@Wendigoon8 Sucks seeing a passion project like this get hit with an age restriction. Cool to see Wendigoon using his platform to give it some attention though. We need more creators supporting each other's work.
Hasan calling Ethan a "horrible monster" while presenting his side of a years-long personal feud to a congressional candidate is insane.
There's a difference between criticizing someone's politics and turning your personal grievances into a political hit piece.
At some point, accountability has to apply to Hasan too.
Fair pushback. I looked into it, and Destiny encouraging people to track down and heckle Hasan at protests is indefensible.
I still think an "organized stalking campaign" requires evidence of coordination, but harassment is harassment regardless of who's doing it.
I'm not picking teams here.
Nobody said 30-year-old incels need to be coddled. Adults are responsible for their own actions.
But you can't claim to care about preventing radicalization while dismissing uncomfortable conversations with "incel gamer" insults.
Parenting matters. So does the rhetoric young men are exposed to.
You're proving my point.
Streamer privilege is absolutely real, but this is a hilarious response to someone essentially saying "stop being parasocial weirdos about my wedding."
Regular people don't want strangers dissecting their weddings either.
You just wrote an entire manifesto proving QT's point. ๐
"Textbook sexual assault"? That's a pretty serious accusation.
Atrioc was caught viewing purchased deepfake pornography. That's disgusting and exploitative, but it's not automatically sexual assault.
We can condemn what he did without redefining serious terms to win an argument.
You literally replied to a post where I defended Poki's right to feel uncomfortable, and somehow concluded I'm demanding forgiveness.
Victims owe their abusers NOTHING. That doesn't mean people are incapable of changing.
If you can't distinguish redemption from forced forgiveness, you're arguing with yourself.
Exactly. If someone takes accountability, puts real money into fighting the harm they contributed to, and still gets treated as permanently irredeemable, what message does that send?
Poki owes him zero forgiveness. But accountability without the possibility of redemption is just punishment with better PR.
Mike, point to where I said his victims have to accept him. I'll wait.
Poki owes him absolutely nothing. Neither does anyone else.
But there's a massive difference between someone being entitled to forgiveness and someone being allowed to rebuild their life.
You're arguing against a position I never took.
Poki has every right to feel uncomfortable. Nobody reasonable disputes that.
But as someone who works with youth, you should understand how dismissing these conversations as "incel gamers" plays directly into the hands of red-pill grifters.
You don't combat toxic ideology by reinforcing the alienation they thrive on.
