Happy new week, X family!
Before anything else, we're grateful.
Grateful for every win, big or small, that last week brought.
Grateful for the challenges that stretched our patience but sharpened our perspective, the setbacks that tested our resolve and even the uncertainty
As a woman,
If you take yourself to a bar, restaurant, club or supermarket.
And a random man approaches you and offers to pay for whatever you took or odererd for, & you accept.
You're accepting an invitation to treat.
Even if he's a stupid man, you accepted his offer.
End.
@jon_d_doe Latin: Beneficium accipere libertatem est vendere -To accept a favor is to sell one's freedom.
A gift from a stranger is rarely free; accepting without knowing the giver's intentions, you may find that you have sold your liberty for a trinket, & that the price grows with time.
If a bird falls in love with a fish, where do they live? I saw that question in an essay not too long ago, and it's really stuck with me 'cause the writer's answer was pretty harsh, in a quiet way. The bird just isn't made for water, right? And the fish? Not built for the sky. So, they keep meeting halfway, totally smitten, but both slowly drowning, both pretending it doesn't hurt. Everyone usually reads that as a story about relationships. But hang with me for a sec, 'cause I think it's actually about all those places you've ever tried to fit in. Like that job where you're basically shrinking yourself to belong, or that city everyone raves about but you just don't get, or even a room where you practice being someone else before you even walk in. We keep asking, "What's up with the fish? Why's it so slow? Why's it wiped out? Why can't it just fly?" And nobody even thinks about the water. 'Cause a fish on land looks totally messed up until you just put it back in its element. That same creature that was flopping around on the sand suddenly becomes unstoppable. So, maybe the real question isn't whether you're good enough. Maybe it's whether you can actually breathe where you are. If you've been struggling somewhere for a really long time, before you go changing yourself, seriously, check your surroundings.
Next week, I will be teaching anyone interested in learning how to use a reference manager on Google Meet, for Free.
References and citations should be the least of your worries when writing your project or paper.
There are lots of helpful resources on YouTube too.
If you’re Interested, let me know, and I will send you the meeting link.
Tell me...
What is a 30-year-old man hoping to gain from being in a relationship with a 19-year-old girl?
She's still in 200 level.
She's broke.
She's most likely not a virgin.
She's very young and inquisitive.
She doesn't even have a direction yet.
Is this not a master-slave relationship?
He's chasing and building his career, she's chasing test scores and CGPA.
What exactly is he hoping to get from her?
What else can she offer him if not only toto?
How is he even comfortable calling such a small girl his girlfriend?
You working class men that are dating such girls are like "predators".
And if such girls start to ask you for money for different things, you call them oloshos.
What else are you expecting them to ask from you?
You know what you're doing.
You think those girls will continue to be ignorant, naive and immature forever?
You'll reap from what you're sowing today in the future if you marry them.
That's when you'd understand the meaning of a rebellious wife.
AJD.
Some women are so religiously hypocritic when it comes to sex in a relationship.
They pretend not to want it before marriage, even when they're not virgins.
You're horny, you dey give your man BJ and you dey use him preeq to rub your clit until you cum.
But when it comes to make man shook him preeq, you suddenly remember your Bible or Quran.
Let me tell you ignorant young men:
Women love sex.
But it's in your presence that they pretend not to love it, so that you will be fooled to think that they're "virtuous" enough to become a wife.
You don't know that another man or men outside dey shine her kongo while you're anxiously waiting for your wedding before you start to dey chop wetin the other man or men don chop tire.
Una mumu never do?
End.
Him: Hit the nail on the head
Me: Ok sir.
My mind: If hammer dey my hand Na your head I go first use am scatter, you just wan stress my brain with your short attention span. 😭😭😭
#TGIF 🥳
The week took its shots. Now it’s time to breathe. 😮💨
A few days of rest can do wonders for your mind and body. So this weekend, switch things up. 🌍✨
Go somewhere new. Try something cool. Catch up with your people. Make memories. Laugh a little. ❤️
Hi, I’m Jude from Nigeria, and I make sculptures. Today is my birthday, and it would mean a lot to me if you could share my work and help it reach a wider audience.
Thank you so much! 🤍
@ArinzeIfes98019 Beans and buns be like beans and bread Na. If u jam people wey go boarding school u go see combination.

When it comes to romantic intentions between a man and a woman, two things can make a woman ruin or expose you.
1. Because she doesn't find you attractive.
2. Because she finds you attractive and wants you, but you don't find her attractive and you don't want her.
End.
Sometimes, I try to imagine where my wife would have been if she had not decided to sacrifice her career for me and our children.
She may even be richer than I am because she's so diligent and dedicated towards achieving anything.
But she abandoned all that because of marriage.
I recall her final year project.
She reared chickens from a day old to maturity.
I had graduated already but was still in school because NYSC was delayed.
When those chickens became mature, we started selling them.
I think each one was sold for 2k.
My wife gave me account of every sale that she made and we both spent the money.
My father had asked me to return home and had stopped sending me money.
I survived because of my lovely wife.
About 3 years ago, my wife and I traveled to the state where we schooled.
And we took pictures or where we lived off campus for almost 4 years.
I have that picture in my gallery.
If I share it, it may expose me.
But I can tell you for free...
You modern day students will NEVER live in such apartment.
Very anyhow place.
The rent was 1k per month.
The one we lived in during NYSC was even worse.
We didn't even have a proper toilet.
Yet, this woman stayed with me through thick and thin and believing in me.
And you say that I will not lay down my life for such a woman?
My wife is my day 1 ride or die chick.
The more God blessing me, the more I'll be blessing her.
I am not a rich man, but I am grateful that I have a wife that manages with me and willing to give her all for me and the children.
End.
Let me sound this as a note of warning to you young stupid men.
If you are currently giving your girlfriend monthly allowance, do not marry her.
If you marry her, you'll be marrying a prostitute.
Even if you were the one that deflowered her.
Men don't buy their wives.
AJD.
Many young people today are slowly turning romantic relationships into business arrangements.
What does he have?
What can she offer?
Who is paying?
What am I gaining?
Love is beginning to sound like negotiation.
There is nothing wrong with wanting a financially responsible partner or having expectations in a relationship.
But when benefits become the foundation of your relationship, something is wrong.
A healthy relationship is one where two people genuinely care about each other.
You are not there only because he pays your bills, or because she gives you something you want (toto).
You stay because there is affection, respect, friendship, honesty and a desire to grow together.
Transactional relationships can be sweet while the benefits are flowing.
The real question is, what happens when circumstances change?
If the money stops, does the relationship stop too?
If beauty fades, will you still choose that person?
If someone loses their job or goes through a difficult season, does the relationship suddenly lose its meaning?
Young people need to understand that a partner is not an investment or poverty alleviation scheme.
Neither should anyone allow themselves to be treated like an ATM, a trophy, a body, or a stepping stone.
Of course, I know that love alone doesn't pay bills.
Compatibility, ambition, financial stability and kindness matter.
But those things should support a relationship, not replace its heart.
Choose someone you can build with, not just someone you can benefit from.
Choose someone who respects you when there's nothing to gain. And most importantly, become that kind of person too.
Because at the end of the day, the best relationship isn't "What can I get from you?"
It is "How can we build something meaningful together?"
That is the kind of relationship that is worth having.
End.
To work from home dey sweet ooo.
Inside this heavy rain, I just lie down for bed dey press computer.
I never even baff or brush teeth.
😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂
