This Commando (1985) scene is hilarious
Why doesn’t Arnie just open the phone box door?
Why is Michael Jackson sprinting out of the bar?
Why do the guards keep running into Arnie’s fists, and why does an entire army of them work there?
God, I love this film.
Cultural decline can be traced back to the decline of the "training montage."
Why?
Because they represented a celebration of earnestness, aspiration, and sincerity.
But by the late 90s, it was an ironic joke.
Cynicism had replaced sincerity.
It’s time to bring it back.
I always wonder if actors know they’re in a terrible movie. Bob Hoskins and John Leguizamo definitely did on Super Mario Bros. so they hit the bottle. They were drunk for most of the filming.
Hoskins said: “It was a fuckin’ nightmare.”
Rocky IV was once the subject of heavy satire & a lukewarm critical response, but if you ask me honestly, I would tell you that I consider this to be an all-time sports film. This is a beautiful sports movie that nails so main themes. Sly is awesome here too- give him credit.
Vete. No vuelvas nunca. No te dejes vencer por la nostalgia. Hagas lo que hagas, ámalo; como amabas la cabina del cine Paradiso cuando eras niño.
Una de las escenas más emotivas del cine.
In 2001, Hugh Jackman delivered the most realistic computer hacking scene in film history. To this day, it is used for training at the Cybercrime Division of the FBI.
The ’90s had a mini-boom of yuppie nightmare thrillers: bad nannies, creepy landlords, intrusive babysitters, that kinda thing. Unlawful Entry is a forgotten gem of the niche. Ray Liotta is terrifying as a deeply disturbed cop obsessed with Kurt Russell’s wife (Madeline Stowe).
Cuando hasta los estrenos en VHS era un acontecimiento.
“Titanic” tardó nueve meses a llegar al consumo domestico. Hoy films similares no tardan ni dos meses. De hecho, hoy en nueve meses una película ya suena vieja.
