You can call out bullshit without throwing MORE BULLSHIT into the conversation. You can correct misinformation without insulting everyone in sight. You can be angry without becoming hateful. You can defend your idol without dragging another person down.

What’s the point of saying, “We’re protecting them,” if in the process, we become the very kind of people we’re telling others to stop being?
