A very helpful and nuanced (exit X/Twitter character limit) discussion about the risks and benefits of antidepressant use and de-use in healthcare today #RCPsychIC
An important #FathersDay message from me…WEAR A HELMET ! This week I had a bad accident while riding my bike in CT. I'm doing ok and I’m thankful for all the doctors, nurses and staff at @LMHospital who looked after me but most thankful for my helmet that saved my life. Be Safe

Make no mistake: the Tories’ introduction of photo ID is designed to stop younger and historically marginalised people from voting. Do not let them.
This Thursday:
🚨 You need to show photo ID at the polling station
🚨 You can only vote once - there is no second preference
NEW: This week’s tube strikes have now been suspended.
Londoners and visitors to our city will no longer face several days of disruption.
This shows what can be achieved by engaging with trade unions and transport staff rather then working against them.
From 7am, we strike again.

Reports of military incursion into Al-Shifa hospital are deeply concerning.
We’ve lost touch again with health personnel at the hospital.
We’re extremely worried for their and their patients’ safety.
Black people are five times more likely to be detained under the Mental Health Act.
The Tories have scrapped a once in a generation opportunity to tackle this burning injustice.

Sleeping on the streets is NOT a lifestyle choice. We don’t have nearly enough affordable homes, rents are soaring and this is leaving people destitute and forced to sleep rough.
This is a consequence of poverty. And poverty in this country has been exacerbated by policy choices
