When it comes to the Lord's Supper, we gather to "eat the story." The story that was, is and is still to come. That is the hope we consume. (ht @timmackie)
"One of the greatest gifts you can give your children is to raise them so that they have as little unlearning to do as possible when they grow up. Especially about God."
RE: Yahweh's character (Ex. 34:6-7)
— John Mark Comer (Gad Has A Name)
The Holy Spirit isn't upon us just to enrich and transform our congregations, but our neighbourhoods, our cities and our nation's as well. When God overflows your cup, make sure it's spilling in the streets! May all the world come to know Him!
Transformation is always preceded by nurturing. If you want to be a part of transforming your congregation or community, it will not come from a pulpit, pew or project, but from the table.
A disciple isn't made in a day, a church isn't planted in a day... But a single step everyday is all it takes to be on the journey! Keep the dream alive and keep walking with Jesus... he'll keep you on the path!
On the lighter side...
Save some money on Personality Tests and Strength Finders Inventories... and simply bake an uneven amount of bacon for the team and take note of what happens.

A Disciple's ultimate task is obedience. Not multiplication. We are always multiplying aspects of ourselves in the world around us, but what really ought to concern us most is whether it is the ways of Jesus or the ways of man we are obeying.
Those you minister among today may reject your message, your God and the Jesus way of life. Even still, live in such a way that should one's heart be open to receiving Jesus one day, that the very memory of your life is still gracefully cheering them on to Christ.
Being FAITHFUL to a PLACE is of much value.
Being FAITHFUL to the CHRIST is of much greater value.
This is what you are to remember when when you are called to "go...".
"Just as love of God begins with listening to his word, so the beginning of love for our brothers and sisters is learning to listen to them."
— Bonhoeffer
One tramples God underfoot or tries to sweep Him away.
Another never thinks of Him nor appreciates Him.
And another fully plants their life in Him and bears fruit.
We all treat God like dirt!
