@UsuryName@Catholic_bro Have you ever studied it? Have you read the entire chapter and book? Or are you just repeating what the Catholic church told you?
@BergieOG @itstayjota @Catholic_bro OMG it's like you've never read the Bible and don't know history. The priestly service from Aarons line has NOTHING to do with us, we are not Jews, we are not under the law, we are free from the law.
@https_77798 @Catholic_bro Ok, there are also writings of people talking about the sins of the Catholic church. The 95 thesis clearly outlines the corruption of Gods word as was taught to the masses when they didn't have mass access. But, how does anything you said justify priest celibacy and confession?
@UsuryName@Catholic_bro The apostle John holding mass, doing communion, and teaching, is completely and entirely wonderful and Biblical. John did not, however, practice celibacy, priest confession, or any Catholic ritual outside of communion and baptism, which Jesus instructed.
@UsuryName@Catholic_bro The apostles were not priests, where does it say that in the Bible?
Paul was also the biggest contributor to writing, promoting, and instructing marriage, his celibacy is irrelevant to priest celibacy.
@BergieOG @itstayjota @Catholic_bro Your Catholic fathers, though they may have been great people, are not included in the Bible and their practices are not mandates for the Church.
@BergieOG @itstayjota @Catholic_bro 16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God[a] may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
@https_77798 @Catholic_bro You've never heard of the Catholic church controlling scripture? You think the sins of the Catholic church are a secret or my opinion?
Paul using that word in no way indicates or instructs priest confession or priest celibacy.
Would you like to try again?
@MonkMaxing @DemareGerry@Catholic_bro Yep, the Great High Priest, which is why we confess to Him. Priest confession and priest celibacy, however, not a thing in the Bible...
@Catholic_bro @https_77798 The disciples aren't Jesus and no one in the Bible ever was instructed to be celibate, God himself created marriage, and Jesus instructed it, goodness you don't read, NEXT
