Working with churches & community to provide warm and secure shelter to homeless guests through the winter nights & to support them rebuilding their lives 💗
Yesterday's data showed more people were using transport than in previous days.
Please do not leave your house unless absolutely necessary. It really will save lives.

Inspiring responses to the crisis today:
➡️ a social landlord pulled all eviction cases from the court list 👍
➡️ a council extended all Discretionary Housing Payments to October 👍
➡️ a landlord agreed not to evict a young person and helped them into an affordable home 👍
We would like to thank all our volunteers that helped us deliver the provision of NS. Weve tried hard 2resume business as usual, however, We have made a difficult decision to suspend. Temp arrangements have been set up for the remaining guests. Support is also still in place.
Doing our best to keep the guests settled and safe with all the recent uncertainties. Nice chippy tea followed by a delicious magnum #fortheroyaltreatment. Tonight’s debate: is Magnum ice cream or a lolly??? The guest want to know what you think #helpinghand#SundayThoughts

Another new guest has joined night shelter this week. We will do our best to settle them in and surround them with the much needed support #nomoresleepingrough
The Night Shelter is here for people who are homeless, whatever their circumstances. Cornerstones do all they can to link them with support to find accommodation. This month 2 of our guests have moved on. #hardtimesgetbetter
Everything will have to be completely replaced due to the flood damage and potential contamination.
We are hopeful the Hospital will re open in 6 months and will keep you posted on the progress!
