Hi @AVFCOfficial, fancy a pre-season friendly in a few weeks? We know you’re short on funds, so we’ll pay for the pitch over East Park & sort the referee fees out too. You can even come back to The Royal Oak if you want & Tina will put some Ham/Cheese cobs on for us? Let us know
@BenPerks3@Wolfie_YYA Looks like our tweets went straight over your head. We’ve been whipping boys in most the div’s so ‘bottling it’ in Div 1 is not the case. We lost to Hawkins & went on the piss with them after the game. We’re happy to play anybody but cant do that with a squad of 12 #UnusualAntics
(5) Thanks to all the teams who we’ve battled it out with over the past 11 years. It’s been a great ride.
Hopefully it’s not a goodbye forever, but a goodbye for now 💙❤️
(4) It’s a real shame that the league seem more concerned about receiving monies from their fines rather than looking after the teams in its league.
Castlecroft being another example of this who unfortunately also had to fold recently due to similar reasons as ourselves...
(3) With only 7 games remaining for us in Division 1, it’s not like we will be in a rush to get all our games in by May.
It’s a frustrating time for the club, but it’s unfortunately the only solution for us at this current time due to the League being consistent with their fines
(2) In our 11 year history, we have never had to do this, (even when we were the whipping boys in Div 7) so it is unbelievably disappointing that when asking the league for a few weeks grace to bring in some new lads that the league rejected and had very little sympathy...
(1) It’s is with great sadness that we see ourselves having to fold for the remainder of the season.
With us struggling to get lads to play due to injuries & personal matters, we have found ourselves having to cancel games and subsequently have to pay fines...
All packed ready for my boys Stag Do in Tenerife tomorrow.
Gangs of fresh skin fades and tacky fancy dress all round for the @ChurchillElay boys this weekend.

James Jordan’s and his men are looking to pick up their first 3 points of the season today with an away trip to Royal FC.
This is Elay’s last game before before they set sail for an international training camp in Tenerife.
Come on The Elay 💙❤️
Churchill goal scoring legend @JordanKing787 got himself on the score sheet after leaping like a salmon and beautifully directing a header past the helpless Victoria keeper.
@ShintonBradley got his second & Elay’s 6th from the penalty spot by sending the Victory GK the wrong way
