If you say you're catholic, you don't get to pick or choose what you support and what not. It's not cafeteria catholicism, that's being a protestant. They pick what they want to believe and support, we do not!

You're either catholic or not.
You're either in or out.

[Saint Adaugoijele ✝️ @JustAdaugoijele]

What type of Catholic are you ?

[David B. @Churchmouse05]

If the thing that you're judged by in the Church is who raised you, then she lost its way from the Gospel.

I don't want to be a part of an institution where who raised you, determines your capabilities.

[David B. @Churchmouse05]

@BillArnoldTeach One of the reasons is the hypocrisy.
If who raised you determines whether you can become a priest or not, I don't want anything to do with the institute that's called the Church.

I believe in the Eucharist, but the Church lost its way and the meaning of the Gospel.

[David B. @Churchmouse05]

@BillArnoldTeach Christ sends us to a priest, because the OT sends sinners to priests.
Christ came to fullfil the law, not to abolish it.

[David B. @Churchmouse05]

@Colin_in_exile @SecretFire79 Actually, the true catholics preferred to remain in the Spanish empire.
Most catholics today can learn something from those truly living their faith in the time it was forbidden.

[David B. @Churchmouse05]

@RealMattFradd It's common now to not even get accepted into seminaries these days without valid reasons other than being labeled "conservative".

[David B. @Churchmouse05]

@Truth_matters20 The Mass pre dates the bible by 400 years. It was compiled by the Church to be read at Mass, because most people couldn't read.
And we still read from the bible every Mass, every day.
Old Testament and New Testament. The Gospel is the most important.

First learn, then judge.

[David B. @Churchmouse05]

@RealMMulholland @Gitmo99 @MagaGrunt1 Uh, you do realize this is as fake as can be right?
There's more wrong, than right on that uniform.

[David B. @Churchmouse05]

@CatholicQuote12 Fake.
Ranks and unit badges are wrong. Plus army on what, at quick glance, seems to be a destroyer? Highly unlikely.
If the uniforms were correct and naval, ok yarheads maaaybe, it would be more plausible.

[David B. @Churchmouse05]

@six_camden @MaricarHortill1 @CatholicQuote12 @grok And unit badges to name another.
Plus army on a, at quick glance, destroyer? 🤔

[David B. @Churchmouse05]

@JefferyFasching Congratulations 👏

[David B. @Churchmouse05]

@FrMatthewLC They read a bible that has 7 books less than ours. Yet they point the finger at us for being "unbiblical". 1Without us, they wouldn't have a bible to argue about and 2 the Mass is all about the bible. It's why it was compiled to begin with.

[David B. @Churchmouse05]

@BillArnoldTeach Truth.
The times I least want to pray it, is when I need to the most.
Same goes for Mass. The least I want to be there, the more it's needed.

We don't pray because we want to, we pray because we need to.

[David B. @Churchmouse05]

@BillArnoldTeach 🇻🇦

[David B. @Churchmouse05]

@renedeboer @JustAdaugoijele I know. I also know the Dominican priest that often celebrates Mass there.

[David B. @Churchmouse05]

@PetraW122 @jjvpeperstraten Heeft die oranje wel rstioneel functionerende hersencellen voor nodig.
Het heeft er alle schijn van, dat hij ergens achteraan heeft gestaan, toen de Goede Heer ze uitdeelde.

[David B. @Churchmouse05]

@AdDeigloriam47 Benefit of being an acolyte: free au de cologne 😂

[David B. @Churchmouse05]

@JustAdaugoijele I wear a St. Benedict crucifix and gave a medal to my goddaughter.
I give one to just about anyone at least slightly interested..... I van be very persuasive 😅

@StellarArtoisGB Crate is ok for stay at home use.
A bag with essentials that's quick to grab is a necessity in any situation (house fire, flood, hurricane evac etc).
I can literally throw my bag out the window if I need to evac immediately for whatever reason.
