2/2 but what I couldnโt have anticipated was how important it was going to be to me to hear from YOU. Youโve been smart and kind and funny and at times bracingly honest. I feel so lucky to have been able to hear directly from so many of you for so long.
1/2 If something happens to this site and weโre not able to talk here again, I just want to say itโs been an absolute pleasure and an honor to be on here with you. I came here 11 years ago to promote the show...
I don't think you'll need tissues. This is a particular kind of story that's about grief but in a very embarrassing way - when you haven't been to your mother's grave for what feels like WAAAY too long.
I never saw this. Was just being a nerd and talking about drum machines on text late into the night and decided to google to see if anyone got drum machine-geeky about this episode. Was so excited to celebrate this great little machine. Gotta do a sequel someday.
Oh! And also the terrific @ashleyn1cole who we are lucky to have in our troupe. And it was written by me and Kelvin Yu. TUNE IN tomorrow for holiday feelings and yuck yucks.
Oh, and just so you know, @philipglass, the piece is from Mishima (which I have loved for years), and it was arranged for 6th graders playing mallet percussion (which will totally make sense if you watch) and also for strings and just a touch of choir.
