General Internal Medicine (GIM) is a newly re-launched speciality within SIM. It’s a broad branch of Medicine, dealing with disease prevention, diagnosis and treatment of adults. The department is responsible for delivering general medical care to adults within LTHT, 24/7. ✨💊🩺

Today on my ward, a team of us helped to deep clean a side room so that we could move a really ill patient ASAP. We need to break the barriers of hierarchy because we’re all trying to provide the best patient care we can in our own way. Respect each other.
