Her family was positive, she couldn't breathe, was about to go to the hospital, yet people are already saying she didn't have covid. I guess we'll see, but I can't even...

@EileenBellNews That's what she's telling them, but they tried to tell her to come back early in Jan during the first quarantine too. They said "no pressure" but we'll have to let you go if you don't come in. She doesn't go out, she keeps AHS guidelines.

So my daughter is just put into her second quarantine in 3 months because her roommate's boyfriend is positive. Her employer has said they will have to "let her go" if she doesn't come back to work next week. What should she do?

@Realeugenelevy I remember where I was the moment I found out he died. In a dressing room in the basement of a theatre where I was putting makeup on for a performance. I remember I cried. Thank you for Schitt's Creek and for bring joy to our lives this year.

@titansjc55 @CMOH_Alberta I have thought of this often. Of course there is a point at which we need to ignore the laws. We have made rare exceptions for mental health and reason, but overall we don't think we are at the point of nazi germany so we press forward doing our best to comply. Best to yours too!

@Henry36660917 Yes and why am I being mocked for deciding to teach my children respect for leadership, laws and science? My post was to show the reality of what we are being - not just asked to do - but mandated. A short time is understandable, but rules this lengthy and strict are oppressive.

@BernwardFreeze1 @CMOH_Alberta @jkenney I appreciate the analogy and your support. I don't believe it is BS but I do believe it is minimal. Our family chooses to trust our leaders and uphold the law the best we can - not saying we're perfect. If the laws are only made for the stupid then why should any of us keep them?

I guess my logic is people are going to continue ignoring the rules or doing their best to keep them regardless of how strict they are - so trust those of us who are trying so we can see our loved ones. Law enforcement is not maintaining them anyway.

@trevor5583 @CMOH_Alberta So people can do their best to keep them AND see their loved ones legally...some of us aren't ignoring them. After 11 months, this is causing extreme pain and suffering - and as you can see from my other replies, embarrassment because people think keeping the rules is stupid.
