Celebrities giving their statements:
Education is very good. Students also very important. Exams are crucial. Youth is country’s future. I can relate, I was also youth & did college. Govt also good. Everybody great. Have dialogue. Just sort it out fast & go watch my movie soon.
A little surprised that Priyanka and MaKaPa aren't hosting the swearing-in ceremony with a special thanks to DAC developers, powered by Poorvika mobiles.
#Kara : the best Dhanush film in the last 5 years, after Thiruchitrambalam.
Like @vigneshraja89 promised, it’s a film that will respect your time, your money and also your intelligence
A unique Tamil commercial film with an insane amount of depth & detailing. Needs to win 💪
Dear Women and Men who care
Choose whom you vote for carefully.
Rapists, parties who field sex offenders, molester supporters.
They will all throw your daughters to the rapists and you wont get justice.
Money, clout and politics win.
Justice takes ages by which time you’ll die trying.
Awarding Vairamuthu the Jnanpith award legitimises and empowers him while further marginalising all the women who have had the courage to stand up against him. We cannot and should not separate an artist from the art he makes.

TVK chief and actor Vijay's wife, Sangeeta Sornalingam, has filed a petition for divorce after over 25 years of marriage. According to the petition, Sangeeta alleges that Vijay was involved in an extramarital relationship with an actress.
The couple, who married in August 1999, have two children, Jason Sanjay and Divya Shasha. The legal proceedings are based on specific provisions of the Special Marriage Act, 1954, which allow a spouse to seek divorce for reasons such as adultery and cruelty.

Women need to speak like this more often. So many of us are conditioned from childhood to downplay our achievements and apologize when asking for clarifications or offering a correction. No apologies, and own your achievements. I love this answer so much.
ARR doesn’t like to be praised or thanked. So thank you, universe.✨
Thank you Chellams for celebrating this moment.🙏🏻
Ever grateful. ♥️🙏🏻

My singing wasn’t perfect. I went off-key. I missed a cue. But you felt what was in my heart — and in the soul of that song.
That night I felt this: as long as there is music, there will be love. As long as there is love, there will be hope, and humanity will prevail. (7)
Yet, he rehearsed w/ me 3 times so I wud feel comfortable. Nobody else had that many run-throughs, they are all seasoned professionals.
The stadium on Feb 14 was filled with love. U all celebrating my performance so wholeheartedly felt like an extension of what ARR stands for.(6)
On rehearsal day, I realised he was truly going out of his way to accommodate me. They were discussing cutting a couple of songs to wrap up by 10:30. I could have been skipped very easily. Honestly, even I might have voted to keep those songs instead of me singing. (5)
ARR (with a smile): “Rasathi paadureengala?”
Me: What? Oh God. I LOVE Shahul Hameed. Are you sure?
And that was it. He was pulled away for the next engagement.
Two weeks later, it was actually happening. (4)
Inside, I kept tearing up through the interview but somehow managed to hold it together.
At the end of our chat, this happened:
ARR: “Why don’t you come sing something on the 14th? Are you free?”
Me: Aa?
ARR (to his team): “Alex kku oru song kudukkalaam pa.”
Me: Are you sure? (3)
But then, a few days later, he followed me. And a few days after that, I was invited to interview the man himself.
I was waiting on the sidelines for his previous engagement to get over when he peeped over and said, “Hi” — as if he had known me forever. I was overwhelmed. (2)
Hi Chellams,
I don’t think I will ever recover from what has happened over the past few weeks.
It all began with A. R. Rahman sharing one of my reels, a bit from Alex in Wonderland’s ARR segment on Instagram. That alone was more than I had ever wished for. That was enough. (1)
