This week on “Shark Tank,” all 3 classes made spectacular pitches on their eco-friendly inventions. They practiced public speaking, generated predictions about human impact and negotiated investment deals! @OaksSchool3

What better way to learn human impact than with chocolate chip cookies?! Students were “coal miners” and dug for natural resources to see the consequences! @OaksSchool3

That’s a wrap on our Fossils & Mass Extinctions topic! 🦖 Students were ecstatic to virtually tour the @AMNH Musueum of Natrual History to see real fossil exhibits! They also LOVED making a fossil of their own 6th grade hand ✋🏼Thank you @MissPontrello for the idea! @OaksSchool3
