Louis M. Brown
1928 – 2000
In honor of Black History Month, Cinfed highlights the longtime president of its Board of Directors, Louis M. Brown. Mr. Brown served on Cinfed’s board for 40 years – 30 of those as president – during which our organization experienced long-term growth and stability. (1/5)
His inspiration and Cinfed’s passion for the pursuit of education remains: to date, more than a quarter of a million dollars in scholarship money has been awarded to local students. (3/5)
Mr. Brown had a 32-year career with the Internal Revenue Service, retiring in 1986. A graduate of Xavier University, he believed deeply in the power of education. When he passed away in 2000, Cinfed established a scholarship program in his memory. (2/5)
