It's been one decade since the "Meet your match" update came out into TF2 during 2016. Most players call it the worst update to ever exist since it tried to turn TF2 into a more competitive game.

Sadly the main purpose of the update failed.

There's something rather poetic about Valve dropping the summer update and the matchmaking system breaking, again, on the 10 year anniversary of Meet Your Match.

Reading the replies on this is unfathomably insane. We've entered the revisionist history era for the bot crisis, and it took what, a year? For people to give it a pass or say "it wasn't that bad."
