@Kurrco First off, major respect to MJ 👑🐐 that man set the standard and changed music forever 😭🏆
But for Drake to pass a record tied to Michael Jackson? That’s genuinely historic and deserves respect too.🦉
Drake celebrates passing Michael Jackson for most #1 records via IG:
“Neck broke from carrying the chain Back broke from carrying the game Records broken carry on my name
Carry on carry on”
@chartdata@JudahSimpe86537@Drake People can debate opinions all day but the numbers are getting ridiculous 😭🏆🔥
When your biggest competition for historic debuts is literally yourself, that’s generational
@PWYMAL@Wellutwt Calling him cringe is fair, but pretending Homelander had zero aura when half the tension in the show came from his presence is kinda rewriting history.
@LordManiel@CultureCrave The death fitting the character? Yeah. Whole season being a disappointment? Nahhh 😭 y’all be acting like there wasn’t any payoff at all
@PWYMAL@yerie1233@Wellutwt We agree the ending was in character 💀 Homelander being insecure and childish has always been there. But acting like he had zero aura before the fall is where people disagree.
Nah 😭 y’all confuse “having aura” with “being a good person.” Homelander is a terrible person, insecure, pathetic underneath, all of that can be true. But saying he never had aura is just ignoring the way the character was portrayed. Every time he walked into a scene, the tension shifted because nobody knew what he’d do. That’s aura/presence whether you like the character or not.
@patback94@CultureCrave That’s the real point, it’s not just the writing or the powers it’s Antony Starr’s acting that makes both “god complex Homelander” and “exposed Homelander” hit so hard.
