@karingaKI @k_bolto @karingaKI seemed to lose a lot blowing away as it fell in, and unsure if settling & being lost on the ground under the grain trail. Maybe reaching higher % of mob than containers though? 30:70 salt:lime, haven’t had to cover containers yet. Having issues, may go back2doing both.

@k_bolto This is our setup @k_bolto. Tubulator can mix feed rations. Run 2feed carts. One small Magnus one bromar, no scales. Educated guess work. Have field bins with 2nd filling station at other end of property. 2of us can do 22khead half a day, 3x week. Hard work on ute. Truck looks gd

@k_bolto @RobSomerville1 Agree @k_bolto At $4000 if they give 65 lambs a year for 4 years, each lamb is costing you $15 before it even hits the ground.

Interesting that 69% of finishers aren’t feeding lambs this year, with half of those aren’t buying due to price uncertainty. Hard for processors to offer contracts with falling product prices globally. Needs to stabilise. I reckon the 31% feeding lambs will do well.

He is the real boss! Been a productive 6 weeks. Rams out, Fert spread, spuds harvested, pasture seeded, ewes scanned. Fencing & feeding doesn’t stop in between. Now to set ewes up for lambing.
