I am on a #LoveIsBlind binge.
S1 was fun, but I didn’t feel like tweeting about it. Long story short, I liked Cam and Lauren. I don’t hate the Barnetts. Everyone else? 🤢..
..So we’re starting from E5 of S2. This show is nuts and the people are crazy. But here goes…
Gullah Geechee Olympian alert! Twanisha “TeeTee” Terry was born in Miami but her people are from the Gullah Geechee Land! Specifically Jasper and Colleton counties in coastal South Carolina. So much #Gullah#Geechee power on the gold medal winning 4x100 relay!
@scoatnee36 Granted, I only found out about this because the WH nearest me went to online orders only after midnight in 2023. So maybe they were part of a pilot program. I thought all WHs were doing this.
I think it did take about 1-2 years for a lot of us adults to get back used to socializing in the same way that we did pre-COVID, but I think the real case study is what COVID did to people that were younger than 25 y/o at the time.
Those young people are STRUGGLING.
@chulito_jotito Some people won't admit it, but this is common in a lot of gay male friendships. A good many of them start off as sexual or romantic relationships that become non-sexual friendships. Being honest is important.
We've already seen what happened right after Robert's Robellion with the original GoT series, so RR could be a 10-episode miniseries.
I would be most into a series for Aegon's Conquest or The Long Night, but we may have Targaryen fatigue after HoTD is done, so TLN is #1.
You develop so much of your interpersonal and intrapersonal skills during adolescence and early adulthood. You literally learn how to navigate the world independently at that age... and those young people spent 2 years of that time either in total lockdown or tight restrictions.
