"The 1.5-degree limit is only possible if we ultimately stop burning all fossil fuels.
Not reduce.
Not abate.
Phaseout."

Overall, Earth was about 2.45 degrees Fahrenheit (or about 1.36 degrees Celsius) warmer in 2023 than in the late 19th-century (1850-1900) preindustrial average. The 10 most recent years are the warmest on record.

These are leaf sheep, and they live in the sea grazing on algae. They retain the chloroplasts in algae and use them to photosynthesise energy from light into usable energy—food. Solar power can keeps it satiated.
Nature is amazing. Protect it.

By mimicking transpiration, scientists found the artificial leaf generates 10% more electricity than standard solar panels.
This will become a norm on Earth—solar array trees with panel leaves swaying in the wind.

💡 ESG isn't a box to check—it's a blueprint for lasting impact. 🌿 Prioritizing sustainability, social responsibility, and strong governance will shape the future. #ESG#ClimateAction#ImpactMatters#FutureOfBusiness
In 150-200 years, likely some of the populations on earth will be living underground like they do now in Coober Pedy in Australia. They do this to combat the +45C weather. When you live underground it’s a lovely 22C.

All the videos of extreme weather events happening around the world are heartbreaking. From record heat waves to record floods, to records melts the signs of the growing climate crisis are everywhere.

@MikeHudema This right here will be part of the future of the planet, alongside vertical farming and nuclear fusion. These artificial islands will also be designed to rise and fall with the ocean's ebb and flow.
"We are losing biodiversity at a rate unparrelled in human history." Global wildlife populations have sunk over 60% since 1970.
We are destroying ourselves and taking nature with us.
Time to protect people and the planet.

"Humanity’s war on nature is ultimately a war on ourselves.
It’s time for the world to adopt a far-reaching biodiversity framework — a true peace pact with nature — and deliver a green, healthy future for all." @antonioguterres

Something must be extraordinarily wrong atmospherically to support such a deluge over the driest region on the planet.
Precipitable water anomalies over the Sahara are forecast to be 6 deviations above the climatological mean!
Lots of research needs to be done about this hurricane season, and the factors surrounding it.
