🔴 #Iceland NEW: Summary of news from today....

Residents of 20 homes in the Þórkätlustað district were allowed to enter Grindavíkurbær briefly to collect belongings and animals and efforts are underway to assess if more residents can return.

Civil Defense stated that only residents of Þórkátlustad district were permitted to enter the danger zone for collection.

Sheep were among the animals brought to safety during this time.

Seismic activity at the magma tunnel (or dyke) in Grindavík has reduced sharply, with a new risk assessment planned for tomorrow.

HS Veitur's distribution system is damaged, resulting in no hot water in parts of Grindavík and potential leaks in other areas.

The Icelandic Transport Agency imposes a drone ban over Grindavík and nearby areas until November 29.
