Just because girls are easier to draw doesnt make me gay! You can like drawing certain things but that doesnt mean thats who you are.
I love straight ships
@Jeremy_xyz Idk about all that at the end, but i do think her being shipped with Caine would be cute in a way,,, I think it supports the idea that she sees him as human in an emotional sense, and that’s sweet. Even though Caine is an AI, his art doesn’t even look like AI oddly enough..
@YourTallestVir I feel like the “development” was written poorly in the sense that it felt more like Goose being inconsistent with the character and not knowing what to do with her, it didnt feel like character development to me, it felt like Goose was confused on what to do with Gangle
Crazy how i KNEW this was supposed to be their dynamic early on, but halfway through the show i thought i was wrong cause of how written-out Gangle was, only to find out AFTER it ends that i was right, despite the finale making me give up on this idea. Worst writing ive ever seen
@cadugames2010 The way Goose acted about not wanting to have any filler episodes is so dumb because this show would have been so so much better if we did get “filler” episodes that show us how the side characters feel and develop too. Everything would have made more sense and felt smoother
@Confttis I’m mostly speaking from what i think Gangle would think. And based on how Gangle stands so close to him even after acting afraid, I think she would justify his abuse in some ways even if she is afraid it’ll go too far sometimes. I think Gangle thoughts about Jax are inconsistent
Goose seems to have a problem balancing characters and defaults to pushing two characters together instead of balancing everyone’s interactions equally. I hate how forced abstragedy is, it’s literally just jingling keys so you don’t notice how bad the character writing is
@Brendan72327378 Its weird, its like she doesnt even fully know her own characters or how they actually feel or act, and just leaves it up to the fans to decide, as if that isnt just gonna cause everyone to be confused on the characters and argue with each other based on their own interpretations
@Confttis This is a good moment & i saw it in bits in these earlier eps, but it was like edging so close to showing why they gravitate towards each other, this was a decent part for them but it’s all super subtle and would have preferred to see it more or have it addressed at some point
@YourTallestVir@foxie8miller I think its a pacing issue, the show was expected to have so much character development in only 9 episodes, thats really not a long time for a whole character arc to happen. These character issues could easily have been more digestible if we had more in-between episodes
@TADCextremist This is why i dont like Goose. Goose is 100% the type who just likes it as a fetish disguised as a gender identity, that’s part of why a lot of these actually mentally ill trans people die, they don’t want trans to be a sexual thing, but ppl like Goose keep pushing that ideology.
@TADCextremist The really sad part is, sometimes they arent even accepted by their own kind, theres an internal trans vs trans war where some are just like it as a fetish while others genuinely struggle with it as a mental illness, the fetishizers cast out the mentally ill til they end up alone
Now you have everyone thinking Gangle is purely terrified of him because you ONLY showed Jax’s side of seeing Gangle as a friend, but never made it clear that Gangle had a codependent friendship with him too. That would have been cute, i feel like i’ve been robbed. Fuck you Goose
Like why replace all Gangles lines with Pomni. I get that you want to push that ship but ffs, let the FANS ship them, focus more on building the foundation for ALL the members in the circus. Made everyone think Gangle hated Jax but she saw him as a friend? WHY NOT SHOW THAT MORE
When people write off Jax’ bad behavior as just being unhappy as a male, it erases all the other heavy reasons he had to abstract. He lost someone close, met someone new, intentionally distanced from feeling close to anyone ever again, & pushed everyone away until he was alone
And another reason: Jax starts being mean to Gangle when she arrives VERY shortly after Ribbit’s abstraction, his treatment towards Gangle is likely part of him still processing losing a friend and being too afraid to get too close to someone else, he’s pushing everyone away
@Oppearlescentz Its odd cause i honestly felt like Gangle & Ragatha were gonna end up having some sort of rocky friendship explored from what was hinted but Goose ended up doing absolutely nothing with it? It really was just throwing Zooble & Gangle together to give Zooble a “likeable” trait
