@emerald_midgear Grimdark should really be referring to the setting not individual plot lines, GW seem to believe that each plot has to have some evil twist ending so you know it's grimdark but 40k humans are still humans they have all the positive traits of humans even when things are so bleak.

Feel like Trench Crusade doesn't work at all on a fundamental level, the art is badass but you see like three images of homunculi with Jesus imagery on them and dudes in gasmasks and you've seen the entire setting.
