Very proud of the SG team for successfully defending the constitutionality of the St Louis Police Board. St Louis needs, and @AGCHanaway will always fight for, law and order!
Another win for public safety.
Today, a judge ruled that HB 495 complies with the Constitution. We will continue vigorously defending the St. Louis Police Board in court and fighting for the safety of Missouri communities.
I am proud of our team who continue to secure results for Missourians.
Pleased to deliver a win for Missouri prisons at the 8th Circuit, which reversed an adverse ruling. The opinion gives broad protection to public officials. It’s not easy keeping prisons safe and secure; that’s why the law gives guards breathing room.

I’d like to give particular credit to Assistant Solicitor General Alex Buttram, who put in the grunt work on this investigation and lawsuit. He did really great work on this!
Promise made, promise kept. The defendant in the case—the largest distributor of kratom and 7-OH in the State—just agreed to stop selling or marketing all these products in Missouri. Now we’ll make sure the smaller players do the same. @AGCHanaway delivers again.
Proud to be fighting to get 7-OH, which the FDA already found to be a dangerous opioid, off our streets on behalf of @AGCHanaway. We won’t stop until the fight is won.

JUST IN: American Shaman, Missouri’s largest kratom distributor, is suspending all in-state sales effective immediately.
Any retailer who uses free samples and misleading marketing to hook consumers, especially those struggling with addiction, will face swift enforcement.
BREAKING: A judge has rejected a liberal activist lawsuit seeking to block Missourians’ right to vote on eliminating the state income tax.
Missourians will have their say this August.
BREAKING: A DC judge has denied the Democratic Party’s ridiculous request to stop President Trump’s executive order on election integrity.
Proud to lead this win against left-wing lawfare seeking to undermine our ability to engage with the federal government to secure our elections.
@chriswithans They didn’t. Judge Nichols’s standing analysis is strong. A breath of fresh air in a time when some federal judges are breezing past standing analysis.
This is true. Though parts of the standing analysis suggest the plaintiffs will struggle to challenge at least some parts of the executive order even once it is finalized. Judge Nichols has yet to rule on a pending motion to dismiss…
JUST IN: Judge Nichols has rejected Democrats request for a preliminary injunction to block Trump's executive order on mail-in voting and citizenship lists.
He says it's not ripe yet because no concrete action has occurred to implement it. https://t.co/0VfpaxGEy2
Another win. Missouri intervened as a defendant because we don’t think the federal government should be preemptively barred from considering reforms to strengthen the security of mail voting. States can benefit from such reforms. Looking forward to continuing to defend this EO.
A U.S. judge declined to block President Donald Trump's executive order tightening rules on mail-in voting in a loss for the Democratic Party, whose lawyers argued that it could disenfranchise millions of voters. https://t.co/LE3S83ZmFl
Another win for the people of Missouri and the Missouri FIRST map. Another loss for left-wing lawfare and the @NAACP.
The Supreme Court unanimously ruled, almost immediately, that @GovMikeKehoe acted within his constitutional authority when he convened the special session which passed the Missouri FIRST Map.
I’m proud of our talented team who continue to win for Missourians.
We are proud of our Missouri Solicitor General @CitizenCapozzi for testifying in the U.S. House of Representatives this week against attempts to pack the U.S. Supreme Court and undermine judicial independence.
Looking forward to testifying against packing the Supreme Court tomorrow in the House of Representatives. Judicial independence is worth defending. Thanks @JudiciaryGOP for the invite!

Eric scooped me. Two landmark election law wins in favor of the Missouri First Map from the Missouri Supreme Court. Very proud of my team; the advocate at the podium never does it alone!
Twin wins for @AGCHanaway & @CitizenCapozzi defending Missouri's new fair maps. First, plaintiffs argued that the new maps should not go into effect due to a pending referendum. Second argued the map is unconstitutional. Both challenges fail. Important wins for election integrity
Big win.
The Missouri First Map keeps racking up court wins.
The Missouri Supreme Court upheld the plain meaning of the Missouri Constitution and refused to let a referendum petition automatically suspend the state’s duly enacted congressional map.
