Michelle and I can’t wait for you to visit the Obama Presidential Center!
Starting on June 19, the Center will be open to the public, and you’ll be able to check out the Museum along with public spaces like a new branch of the Chicago Public Library with a reading room, a two-acre playground, a fruit and vegetable garden, and more.
Tickets available at https://t.co/ahkDMKalIn.
Today’s Supreme Court decision effectively guts a key pillar of the Voting Rights Act, freeing state legislatures to gerrymander legislative districts to systematically dilute and weaken the voting power of racial minorities - so long as they do it under the guise of “partisanship” rather than explicit “racial bias.” And it serves as just one more example of how a majority of the current Court seems intent on abandoning its vital role in ensuring equal participation in our democracy and protecting the rights of minority groups against majority overreach.
The good news is that such setbacks can be overcome. But that will only happen if citizens across the country who cherish our democratic ideals continue to mobilize and vote in record numbers - not just in the upcoming midterms or in high profile races, but in every election and every level.
Day one of the New York State Democratic Party 2026 Convention.
Before ballots are cast tomorrow, I asked delegates and attendees from across the state one simple question: What issue matters most to you right now?
Hear directly from Democrats across New York State.
Black Republicans like Byron Donalds made names for themselves by claiming Black people were better off under Jim Crow & equate the Democratic Party to a plantation—so I’m excited that his party is reminding him who the real racists are!
Mamdani’s always on message. The trip and clip is a major indication that he is willing to work with that other side when it makes sense while sticking to his campaign promises.

WATCH: @JacquiHeinrich: "Why did you fly here? Aren't trains greener?"
@ZohranKMamdani: "I will use every form of transit and I want to make sure that they're all affordable in New York City, and that's why making buses fast and free is a center piece of our campaign."
President Trump: "If he flew that's a lot quicker too, in all fairness... I'll stick up for ya, the plane takes you 30 minutes and driving takes you a long time."
“We got your back Zohran!”
@32BJSEIU members send off @ZohranKMamdani ahead of this evening’s NYC mayoral debate.
Let’s win a New York City that working people can afford!
After years of complaining about cancel culture, the current administration has taken it to a new and dangerous level by routinely threatening regulatory action against media companies unless they muzzle or fire reporters and commentators it doesn’t like. https://t.co/uts7JpJZzN
Thank you @KathyHochul!
I’m grateful for the Governor's support in unifying our party, her resolve in standing up to Trump, and her focus on making New York affordable. I look forward to the great work we will accomplish together.
Our movement is only growing stronger.
Ahead of J’Ouvert and the West Indian Day Parade, it was an honor to receive the endorsement of my friend and colleague @MoniqueForNY. And I can think of no better way to celebrate than with a walking tour of Little Caribbean.
🔥 MUST-WATCH: “And that’s why it’s important to teach ALL history, Jillian — not just cherry-pick certain % when they work for your argument.”
@debunkjunction fires the @JillianMichaels slavery-downplaying claim that “only 2% of whites owned slaves” into the sun
(and shows why @abbydphillip & @CNN should cross her off their list of terrible panelists)
