Excellent speech by Hon. Chikombo in Parliament yesterday. He dismantled and exposed the flaws of #CAB3. Progressive MPs are putting up a spirited fight against the bill,& as a collective, we must rally behind the people's MPs as they defend the constitution in parly #RejectCAB3
🔸You get given an overpriced multi-million dollar contract to renovate hospital facilities without going to tender.
You pack the hospital facilities with a swimming pool, tennis court and all sorts of uselessness while the hospital lacks basic equipment, medication and nurses are underpaid.
Pedzezvo you dish out tumahamper twehupfu and food relief, expecting us to clap for you. You then cartoon the staff by making them dance for crumbs like toddlers.
It’s an arrogant looting enterprise and we will not see it any other way. Shameless.
We need new leaders.🇿🇼
Jobs! Jobs! Jobs! ~Statement said in 2017 soon after the coup, kwairehwa bootlicking jobs , if you don’t bootlick the Mafidis in Zimbabwe 🇿🇼 unofa nenzara! 🚮🚮
Lovemore Madhuku, a leading legal scholar, told local media that the president’s direct involvement in his son’s elevation violates fundamental constitutional principles. Sean Mnangagwa was among nine Zimbabwe National Army officers promoted from Major during a ceremony presided over by the president on Wednesday.
According to Madhuku, Mnangagwa should have stepped aside from the decision-making process, arguing that the situation presented a clear conflict of interest.
“A president in such a position is not legally empowered to make that decision. The promotion is null and void. In cases of conflict, authority should be exercised by a vice president or another appropriate official," he said.

Scenarios as of today regarding CAB3:
1. ZANU PF withdraws it - unlikely
2. Parliament reject it - unlikely
3. Mnangagwa doesn't sign it - unlikely
4. Court blocks it - Likely orders a referendum
5. Military coup - Unlikely before September
6. Civil disobedience - Unlikely without a major catalyst
7. Referendum & Overwhelming NO - Likely but wld be bloody
Zimbabwe NEVER EXPERIENCED peace, justice, dignity and happiness under Zanu pf .46 years now and millions are fleeing Zimbabwe.Zanu pf is the worst thing ever happened to Zimbabwe
The offer was planned, so was the rejection. Now it appears as if the process is legitimate because MPs are not being influenced, yet it’s their deal. They stand to benefit more than anyone by voting for this deal.
In my view this statement means nothing, the MPs did not even need a further bribe because they are already bribing themselves with two more years in parliament. Those who will benefit from this extension should never be the ones to debate it. One can’t be a judge in own cause
Tonderai Machiridza a prominent opposition activist was taken from his home in Chitungwiza on 13 April 2003 & detained at St Mary’s Police Station. He was severely beaten by police officers over several days. Died 18 April 2003. No-one was ever charged...#ToSaveZimbabweZanuMustGo
A few weeks ago, our propaganda-driven government was loudly hyping a salary increase for civil servants from April 2026, even publishing schedules for different grades. Yet many civil servants quickly pointed out that, in some cases, the actual net increase was only $20 to $80.
Now nurses have been on strike since last week over poor remuneration.
This is the problem: when official statistics and announcements no longer match people’s lived experience, trust collapses. Data from the GoZ is increasingly viewed as unreliable because reality keeps exposing the spin.
📹 “We’re walking dead,” says this nurse. “Pay day brings headaches… It’s our last option doing demonstrations because we want to be at work treating our fellow citizens and relatives.”
Chivhayo will be distributing 3,6 million this week to all MPs. Since he announced it, no one has publicly said they will not take it. This is why voting for a president cannot be reserved for a few. They can be compromised and some have been compromised already.
Commissioners and Judges are not members of a politburo or cabinet who serve at the mercy and pleasure of a president, helping him fulfill his "vision."
Their duty is to serve and uphold the constitution.
We all watched the presser.
You can't make us unhear what Majome said!
When you see a President firing the head of a chapter 12 institution for condemning human rights violations in a constitutional process, and then the head of intelligence who is less that one year in because he won’t accept to use intelligence to force people to accept the mutilation of the constitution. This after endless tinkering with the army, know that government is about to fall.
