The Citroën AX Saxo used the 55bhp 1124cc engine and featured 'gris cristal' paintwork with an understated red stripe and logo. Inevitably this 5-door version was also available alongside the 3-door.
There were seemingly dozens of limited edition Citroën AXs, but this 1991 one (seen in a French-market brochure) was unusual in that its name - Saxo - was reused by the company in 1996 for the AX's successor, the Peugeot 106-derived Citroën Saxo. #carbrochure#Citroen
