I totally understand that, I see it like name brand pricing which i dislike as well. If folks buy i cant complain 🤷 but i avoid it, too

@RedVelvetVRC Adding, in some regards I could see why flat rate wld be preferred to be attempted first. I just have experience where an experimental ych did not sell as a flat sale but did sell as an auction (below ab and regular comm price, so it was a discount.) Auctions can be a pulse chck

@RedVelvetVRC I dont really understand the issue with an auction ych. If its a multi slot ych, sure, I agree, but if its a one off I dont understand the issue with an auction vs flat sale?
I suppose there could be the idea of false scarcity, but id love to understand better

@RedVelvetVRC Ive done ych auctions in the past to give folks a chance to get the art cheaper (my ab would be the normal comm price,) to reuse rejected sketches, and bc (at the time) my flat sale ones weren't selling. Ive not done comms in yrs tho + I personally dislike multi-slot ychs and -

@spackster Mood! Something I've been dying to try (been to busy to) is using texture pastes with acrylic. I got a pumice paste tester and it made the paint texture so interesting!!!
If u ever want watercolor suggestions I can suggest brands/etc as that's what I used to do the most
